In the app it says processing but when I contact T-Mobile they say back order... don't know what is the real status.

Same here. Mine has never actually said "backordered ". Every time I'm in contact with them, they say it is though. I wonder why some people actually have that as a status and some don't?

That is usually a good thing. That means you will get your phone asap. It means you are next, pretty much.

[doublepost=1476277757][/doublepost]I don't understand the Huge nightmare part. When I ordered the same phone on 9-11 it was very clear that I shouldn't expect delivery until November. Anything sooner is a pleasant surprise.

Well, I've reached the finish line. My second 128GB JB+ is being held at UPS to be picked up. A recap to maybe help some of you still waiting:
  • Both JOD
  • Order one placed at 8:58am PDT Order #S017454XXX
  • Order two placed at 9:03am PDT Order #S017455XXX
  • Both EIPs signed and returned about two hours later
  • Both charged 10/10 at around 10am PDT
  • Both shipping labels created at the same time
  • Order two shipped on 10/10 received on 10/11
  • Order one shipped on 10/11 waiting to be picked up today 10/12
  • -Edit- Both orders placed 9/9

Hope this helps. Until next year.
Thanks for mentioning that. Also what were the expected delivery dates that you had received when you placed the ordeR? Just curious.

Well, it is the entire process that is the nightmare. For instance, I ordered a phone that is not as popular to avoid the long wait and chaos. Yet I've seen a constant flow of JB orders ( a lot with nov ship dates and later order dates) ship way before earlier ones. Until now, almost NONE of the less popular colors (S, G, RG). Last year, I ordered on the same day, the same way, same kinda color and got my phone at noon on launch day. Same thing for the year before. There has been a LOT of skipped orders (for same phones and GB) even tho T-Mobile insists they go by order time. So yeah, it's subjective I guess ;) But some people have had many, many problems just keeping their order in there.

Had I known it would be this way, I would have just waited until there was enough stock and wait on my own terms. None of the other carriers have this problem. I could get a Verizon phone right now or pay full price at :apple:.

I understand what you are saying. Those things do frustrate me. But I just try and go by my own personal dates that I was told. Luckily, I haven't had my order cancelled, however, I have seen on here several people that ordered several days after me already receive their phone.

Sounds like something a Tforce rep would say:rolleyes:
Not a Tforce rep. After reading my post I can see where you would say that though. Sorry...

My JB 7 128gb 9/11 order disappeared from the MyTmobile.com alert box (still showing on the T-Mobile app though) so I went onto online chat to inquire. This is the first time inquiring about my order since I placed it. The chat rep said it probably disappeared because of it being placed on Backorder and now has a estimated ship date of 11/1-11/29....but my original ESD was already 11/1-11/30 so it's a little weird that the backorder doesn't change the ESD at all.

I was hoping the ESD was a worse case scenario and that I'd get the phone before November. Fingers crossed.
I noticed this for me, too. It still shows up, but I have to click on the "Phone" tab on the top, then "Check Order Status" on the bottom right. I just assumed it was since the order was over a month old at this point...

I ordered on the 10th :(

Ordered 9/10 7+ mb and nothing
This is really messed up..it still made sense as long as other models were being shipped to people who ordered on later dates ..but same model same config being shipped to later orders is really not acceptable. But I guess nothing that we can do apart from avoiding TMo for the next pre order.

Looks like some of us with the 32GB+ MB have indeed gotten skipped over. Not sure what's going on here. I'm JOD ordered on 9/9 and signed EIP on 9/13. However some people with the same setup and ordered days after are seeing movement. Maybe it's time for a 13 year customer to make a call?

Also there are zero stores within a 50 mile radius of me that have a + in any color or size.
In the same boat , only I ordered and signed eip on 13th. Have seen quite a few 32+ MB being shipped out to later orders.

Are the T-Mobile estimated shipping dates legit?

It has the 256gb JB Plus shipping from Oct 18-26th.

That's faster than apple expects to be able to deliver them through the Apple Store.

It was quick, that's what I went with when I placed my order.

I understand where you're coming from. I was initially quoted 11/1-11/30 ship date. While that sucks, I get it, and it is what it is. I wasn't frustrated, more excited to see if I would get my phone before then. However, once they started skipping orders and fulfilling ones placed after unfulfilled pre-orders, thats when the frustration started for me.

It's a good attitude to have though. You have more patience than I. ;)
