Does anyone know if the Apple store will let you buy a Verizon model if you don't have Verizon? Seems like a few plus models are in stock in my area all of a sudden according to istocknow. I know the Verizon model is supposed to be unlocked and supports the T-Mobile network, just not sure if they will let you buy it or not?

I certainly hope so. I'm on the verge of just giving up and ordering a 256GB of the model we ordered. The main thing holding me back is that promotion I got my 128GB with, where I just paid for the down payment and that's it.

You can't pay with the apple installment plan? (Basically making monthly payments on it and getting Apple care as a bonus). I was thinking of doing the same. It's apparently no problem to find my 'incredibly rare' phone in the unlocked versions here. They have it at the Apple Store every day (RG+s).
