At least they have those all the stores I called in my area and my cousin area had no 7's one store said they wasn't going to get any until close to black Friday
That is crazy. The stores did tell me they expect there pluses towards the end of November but the regular 7's are stock

I wanna know what's the difference between order numbers that start with s and the ones that start with a number

I could be wrong, but I always thought 'S' meant upgrade, and the 2s or other #s, meant new orders or non-upgrades/non JOD ect. I've also heard the numbers were a different computer system for when the other one went down.

I thought the trade in phone had to be in good condition for that promotion?..

Get it fixed before trade-in. Just don't say anything about it;)

Ordered two phones 9/9. The sales rep set one up correctly as the "iPhone on us" so called "free" trade in deal, or so it appears. The other phone is (edit: incorrectly setup as) just a regular eip. Can't get much for it since it's got a tiny chip on the screen and the power button works but doesn't spring back out. I've @ mentioned Art Lucero at executive response twice on Twitter. Third time today, I added Legere. I've been fighting to get this deal since 9/9 but I don't have a good feeling. Gazelle offered $115 for a 6s plus with those damages, exactly why I paid it off 9/9 and arranged to trade it in. I know I should be grateful the new phone arrived, and I am, but the drama continues for over a month now.

Fiy if you mail it in for trade-in, and they say it has $0 value bc of the screen, they will most likely refuse to return the phone AND make u pay full price for the 7. So get that screen fixed and/or mail in at your own risk. Maybe they'll let u do it in store so u can get it back if it's not accepted. T-Mobile and Assurant are sneaky like that

Edit: just reread that...nm. But everyone should know that any way.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you're iPhone isn't gonna be under the qualified status for the promotion even if you get them to reinstate it. Once you ship out and someone looks at it they'll adjust it accordingly for the shattered screen and sticky power button.
Yeah. I'm afraid the store rep's idea of good working order probably isn't the same as Assurant. Thanks for rounding that up.

Great point. And once Assurant has it, that's it. I may take the $115 from Gazelle or just give it to my niece, it's become such a hassle. Thanks for noting that.

If you have to end up selling it, I would recommend Swappa. Gazelle gives you pawn shop type prices. Sold my 5S and 6 on Swappa for double of what gazelle was offering

But hey....the cost of fixing it may be worth it. If u do sell on swappa or gazelle, document every single thing u can think of. EVERYTHING. Especially the imei and it working and making calls, and proof that it's paid off and not blacklisted, packing it up, ect. I've heard of people getting screwed on there even with all the strict requirements those sites have.

I like the waterfall cases I have some in my cart and I have purchased 4 cases so far and a 3 pack tempered glass screen protectors. One of my cases and the screen protectors came Tuesday and my other cases have been shipped so I'm basically waiting on my phone now lol. I look at cases daily I have so many on my shopping list. I will be here next year pulling my hair out waiting for my phone again.

I received my iPhone 7 plus jet black last Monday, and after 5 days of handling it extremely carefully, always setting down on a soft surface, etc., there are scratches on the back. I knew it scratched easily, but this is a little extreme. Called up t-mobile and exchanged it for a 7 plus matte black, should be shipping out on Tuesday!

Did you have it in a case?

Mine came with 2 scratches right out of the box and some little dot like scratches, they really bug me,not sure what to do,I included pictures, those little specs all over won't come off they are like defects in the finish or something, don't know if I should just not worry or try to exchange it which this model being so hard to get might be near impossible right now.

Very true, it may be worth fixing and an estimate never hurt. I'm tempted to cut my losses but it's worth looking into. Good points on documenting as much as possible. I've been burned on eBay before, so I'm pretty wary of these sites. Thanks!
