You sure you restored from the right back up? Only thing I can think of. It takes a while for the initial back up to get access to the phone, and then it starts working in the background while you have access.

Same exact ship as you. How are people that reserved after me jumping ahead? Ridiculous...because they call and complained that they submitted their order late? C'mon...
Well the backup should save your apps make sure your settings are correct under icloud. but as far as text messages those will not back up unto icloud. only if you backup to your computer will your text messages save.
Tried that, and never had luck. Also, don't really feel like taking a gamble on the $650 trade in. I know people have reported success, but we won't know how successful they've actually been until 2-3 months rolls around and they start getting credits on their monthly bill. I don't trust Verizon on that one.
I have a one year trade in program with Verizon will Apple allow me to trade in? They have the phone that I want.

I'm having an issue right now with the iPhone 6/6s trade in deal that I am trying to get it worked out by my local corporate store manager. I just started service with Verizon because of this $650 trade in promo like a week ago and I went in 2 days ago to trade in my phones since I read on this forum you can do so and pretty much everything went smooth until I tried doing my 3rd iPhone trade in. For some reason it wasn't allowing the trade in promo. Long story short, I had to trade in my phone and they told me to wait for a manual credit to my account in a week from somebody higher up who is fixing this. I am basically taking the managers word for it. Trust me not liking this at all. Clearly don't want to be stuck paying $650 over 24 months. I'm already feeling regretful that I switched to Verizon. I don't trust Verizon either. Glad I didn't shipped my phones out and found out the hard way
I ordered my wife's 7 rose gold yesterday 9/28 and ETA was 10/19 but today 9/29 it's shipping out in one day!

I should have ordered the MB 7+ 256 instead of the 128. I ordered on 9/9 at around 9pm and my ship date still says 10/12 and has not moved since ordering 3 weeks ago. Frustrating

I ordered my 256 at around the same time. My order never budged and I literally checked it last night. This morning I got my shipment notification and tracking number and sure enough, it went from 11/2 to shipped!

This happened to me. Didn't restore anything from cloud. So I erased all settings and content and tried again- worked second time. I'm wondering if the install of IOS update (had to be done while restoring) messed ir up some how- worked fine second try.
you have to restore with a ≥ iOS version.
So if old phone is 10.0.2 and the new phone is 10.0.1 it wont restore any data.

Mine is the same as yours. But it says 2 Business days and Delivery Weekday only... So it says Monday shipment. I'm hoping it will be early or we can pick it up on a Saturday
This kinda makes me wish I got the 256 JB instead of the 128 plus because the 128 seems to be a unicorn. Congrats on the early ship date! I hope my 11/16 ship date gets bumped up.
Yeah I know. I just wanted my original ship date back instead they threw me to the front of the line. So I think you might have some luck with jumping the line. Try to get a manager
Question....just upgraded my son's iPhone 5 yesterday because Verizon is generously giving us $400 in trade in credit with purchase of an iPhone 7. Here is my question....the "order" for the trade in box lists my wife's phone number (which is the main line on the account), rather than my son's line. Is this common, or is this going to be an issue?
