Okay. Jet black 7 Plus 256 in hand. I've taken a couple of test shots and they look great so far. Going to the Echo & the Bunnymen show tomorrow night. It'll be a good test for low light performance.

I'm wondering: do you guys think that 3rd party apps will ever get access to the portrait mode? Would be so awesome to be able to use custom bokehs and output raws..
I think getting 3rd party app access is possible, but only JPEG output. I don't think raw output is possible. The phone does a lot of computational work to depth map and merge multiple images to create that bokeh effect, all this is done with Apple's ISP. I cannot imagine how this could be done in raw format. That would mean the phone will spit out multiple raw images and the user has to use some form of software to compile and create their own bokeh. This might be too much of a trouble for 3rd party manufacturers to go ahead with.

Your friend in the last picture, the elbow up to the wrist on the left looks weird. The blur is very noticeable when you zoom in on it full sized. The lines are not clean, it almost looks like you used a blur tool. I noticed in my pictures there is a lot of noise.

How do you get the pictures right in the thread and not as an attachment from iPhone?
