Oh No!! This time of year again with people posting the dopey pics of flowers, bugs and food drinks to show off the camera. I can't believe people really like looking at that stuff. Lol.

Am I crazy thinking this way? I picture grown men standing with their dopey phones bending over to get a pick of a butterfly. No one else would ever care or want to look at these pics except for Macrumors

Plenty people do care and want to see, don't like it? No ones forcing you to look at it.

You realize every professional review website takes similar photos when they review a phone right? A new phone came out with new camera features, people want to share what they can do with it. If you don't like it, why even come into the thread?

Great pics though guys, can't wait to take some of my own once my plus gets here!

I wish the portrait mode (bokeh) was available at launch. I would posted a pic of that effect.

I get it. New phone. Everyone's excited. I guess I'd rather see some pics of pets, sporting event, cars etc.

I didn't mean to be personal to anyone that posted their pics. I just get a laugh how many picks of plants, flowers and bugs get taken the first week a phone comes out.

Hey man at least you are seeing pure unstaged pics from real people in real settings and not a studio ;)

I guess none of us can take good photos like you can.

Geez dude. People aren't trying to take shots for a magazine. They're testing their cameras. The easiest way to do that is to step outside and take a pic of the first colorful or high contrast thing you see, like plants, butterflies and bugs.

Sorry the thread doesn't sufficiently entertain you, but I'm pretty sure the thread title does a good job of describing what it's about.

What? Not everyone lives in the Grand Canyon. Phones just came out. Does that require a road trip to some great photogenic scene? No. Can you get a feel for how well your camera works within 50 feet of your current surroundings? Yes. You're dense. Sorry, man. Maybe you can turn that around somehow.
