Loving the pictures people are taking of the actual phones.

Not jealous at all but would love to be in a situation where I'd be allowed to spend such money on a new iPhone.

I could do it but my wife just doesn't understand the need for the latest technology. It's just not important to her. She's happy with her 5S!

There's a problem with apples post processing more than an issue with the hardware.

Curious if third party apps that utilize raw files will get the same effect or not.

I don't completely understand what u just said lol, but I just came back from an genius appointment and we compared photos from my phone and the ones on display and there was clearly a difference

They ordered me a replacement

Good think I read this thread

I'm really into technology, but the way I tell everyone to look at is that this is a device you will likely be using multiple times a day for 2 years. I usually upgrade every two years, because at that point the new one will be so much faster and have many improvements that IMO you will get your moneys worth out of it in the two years you own it easily. Pays for itself with the time it saves you.

That's just me though.

Just downloaded the cortex app, wow what a difference! Only took a picture of the TV but it's so detailed.

Hmm I'm starting to think that there is something wrong with my camera as most of the indoor shots are coming out blurry.

Is cortex that good? I've seen it mentioned a few times..

It's excellent. It takes multiple pictures or video to be exact and it then determines the most likely colour for each pixel thus eliminating noise and increasing detail. Only caveat is that the subject can't move for about 2 seconds while it takes a picture. I have taken many excellent shots on my trips with my iPhone 6 Plus. I will post a few where even zooming in you retain a massive amount of detail.

I came here for the meat. Can I visit, where do you live? Can we be best friends, right now?

Reminds me I need to do some heavy grilling and smoking before the winter hits. I'm hungry now...

Anyway, 7 plus has a great camera so far. I am coming from a note 7, and would be hard pressed to pick which is better. Both are equally the best mobile phone camera on the market.
