I can't comment on the quality because I'm salivating like a dog. Looks delicious.Try this one. The phone was very close, and I chose to focus on the piece of corned beef right in front of the runny yolk. It still looks better on the phone, but even here it looks reasonably sharp.

[doublepost=1474253440][/doublepost]And it's sideways. LOL
The top one looks a bit muddy ( especially in the grass ) and the others look pretty much standard fare for daylight shots.
So just curious, what do you find incredible about them?
I like taking pictures of flowers all year round.Oh No!! This time of year again with people posting the dopey pics of flowers, bugs and food drinks to show off the camera. I can't believe people really like looking at that stuff. Lol.
Am I crazy thinking this way? I picture grown men standing with their dopey phones bending over to get a pick of a butterfly. No one else would ever care or want to look at these pics except for Macrumors
That is amazing. I'm excited now. This is definitely better than any of the flower pics I got with my S7 edge. Did you use the optical zoom or is it just a macro shot?

I went out shooting with my 7+ yesterday and feel obligated to share some of my favorites (they are unedited). They wouldn't upload so here are the links. My favorite one was the girl on the mountain bike, I snapped it when she was mid-air and it turned out to be a fantastic live photo. Additionally, I was able to capture Venus on the horizon right after sunset, and then Mars and Saturn and part of the Scorpius constellation. There are two pictures of the trail I was on where I used both the 1x and 2x zoom on (they are out of order), and the last picture happened to create a bokeh effect with the moon and city lights when it wouldn't focus *rolls eyes* (I did edit this one a little though).
It's excellent. It takes multiple pictures or video to be exact and it then determines the most likely colour for each pixel thus eliminating noise and increasing detail. Only caveat is that the subject can't move for about 2 seconds while it takes a picture. I have taken many excellent shots on my trips with my iPhone 6 Plus. I will post a few where even zooming in you retain a massive amount of detail.
Yes!!! Right now I am beta testing a new version that allows the controls of the exposure and ISO, it is much improved

Do notice that the objects that you piss about are usually located outside and usually aren't moving at any great speed making them easy subjects to frame and focus on, all the while having some color and contrast that most people can relate to because there are no artificial additives like uniforms in a sporting event, paint on a car, and so on.I get it. New phone. Everyone's excited. I guess I'd rather see some pics of pets, sporting event, cars etc.
I didn't mean to be personal to anyone that posted their pics. I just get a laugh how many picks of plants, flowers and bugs get taken the first week a phone comes out.
Uh, it's called photography. Lots of people with DSLRs and mirrorless cameras take photos of flowers, food, insects, etc. You realize not everyone takes the same photos as you, right? I for one never take photos of sporting events with my phone. Why would you want to take a tiny picture of a person way down on the field that you can barely make out?Oh No!! I decided to download Cortex and give it a go real quick. From my initial observations and in comparison to the stock camera app I noticed that Cortex appears to zoom in a small fraction when taking the picture. Images seemed to be a little more full or vibrant in color, but less sharp as the stock camera app? That two second "freeze for cheese" will definitely take some getting used to and the use of my tripod. I'm sure with more use I will adjust though. I like it and looking forward to the update mentioned.
