How do you upload a photo? I'm using the "Uload File" button which allows me to select a photo. However, instead of uploading my selected photo I get the following error message.

"The following error occurred"

"The file was too large for the server to handle."

It will not even give me the chance to upload it as a thumbnail.

How do I get around this.

so what's the consensus on the best camera app to use? I feel like with the addition of raw 3rd party camera apps are going to be a must now.

What I've noticed is while the portrait mode is nice and all it seems like they've taken a lot of the memory preservation out of going to a location and taking a photo. Sometimes having the background in focus isn't so bad.

The effect does make for some amazing photos. But when they are of people they all look the same regardless of location.

The great thing about this feature is you actually get two photos from one shot. The one in portrait mode as well as one that has a regular in focus background. So memories are preserved.

I get the same. Am finding I have to crop the original file and/or import it into an app and export as a .jpg file.

Oh No!! This time of year again with people posting the dopey pics of flowers, bugs and food drinks to show off the camera. I can't believe people really like looking at that stuff. Lol.

Am I crazy thinking this way? I picture grown men standing with their dopey phones bending over to get a pick of a butterfly. No one else would ever care or want to look at these pics except for Macrumors

To each their own my friend, but sounds like legitimate macro photography to me. A pretty popular subtype of photography, used by pro's with high end cameras, and something that the iPhone has actually has been disproportionately good at. (Meaning compare it to an advanced point and shoot, and the iPhone will suck at fast shutter speeds, or night photography, but can focus on objects much closer than most cameras without a dedicated macro lens.)

I say if you enjoy pics of flowers, or butterflies, or slugs (I took some real nice ones last week w/ my macro lens) then go for it. Be you man or women, age 7 or age 77. Their is beauty all around us, and there is no shame in being able to appreciate more of it. Give it a try, you may like it! :)
