hey would anybody know if the 7 Plus would help me take better pictures in a classroom?

my professors are too lazy to print stuff, so they just put the assignments on the screen and tells us to take pictures. but my photos always looks blurry/fuzzy on my 6s (my assigned seat is towards the back of the room)

I don't know if the 7+ will be enough to overcome your problem. Your best bet is to form a text group with a few people in your class. Whoever has the best screen photo of the day posts to the thread for the benefit of others. Or if its always the same person then everyone chip in and get that person a coffee once a week for doing the daily photo.

I don't have anything near your background but switched my order to the 7 Plus when I realized I may be able to leave my "real" cameras at home a significant portion of the time. I hope it actually pans out that way.

I'd say the 7 Plus will suffice to do 80-90% of your casual photography. I shot a bunch last night at the show and the images are great. Low light performance is excellent, but you do run into ISO noise when it's candle light dark. In daylight the images are excellent as you can clearly see from the many shots in this thread. With the exception of advanced shooting features and a true zoom lens, this really is a pocket point and shoot camera now, not just a palmtop that happens to be able to take okay pictures too.

Just downloading the beta now so I can test the portrait mode but had some pretty decent sunlight in the garden yesterday so took a few snaps. They would have been better had the sun been a little lower but as I'm in England you have to grab the sun while you can!

All photos taken with the standard lens apart from the close up of the dog which was taken with the 2x lens.

Yes, as long as they are the same distance from the camera and they are within 8 feet. You can see the pictures with 2 of my dogs on the 2nd or 3rd page.

These images everyone is posting are amazing and match the results I'm getting. I was actually hesitant over a couple shots on my roll trying to remember if I took them with my iPhone or with my Fuji X-E2. And that's really saying a lot!

Shot in RAW with ProCam app. Processed with Lightroom app. The highlights were very manageable with this raw file, cloud details resolved. Shooting in raw is sweet!

Would you recommend the Procam app? I've been looking at a few, tried RAW by 500px and just using the Lightroom app to shoot DNG. Neither are perfect, though.

Yeah ProCamera 8 & ProCam are both very good & the manual controls are very similar. You can touch which camera you want to use at anytime, compared to the default camera app which the iPhone chooses, most of the time doesn't work correctly. Both of those apps are improving as I am helping with beta testing. You could beta test also if you like, just ask them.

I don't know anything about the 500px app, but the two ProCamera apps are really good. ProCamera 8 has a great low light option (beta mode) but had it with iPhone 6s, but the low light and 5 image hdr modes are being improved. So yeah, these two apps are the best on the market and ProCam shoots RAW, ProCamera 8 shoots DNG.
