Is it possible to shoot long exposures with the IP7+? I'm talking about at least 1 second to 30 seconds.

Everything out of the stock camera app with some enlight punch.

someone asked, whether or not a full body portrait mode shot was possible or not on one of the earlier pages: it is possible, but in this case, the noisy background messed up the effect sadly.

I'm amazed by how good it got this shot. The non portrait version was a noisy mess, this is an actual photo to look at.

I'm a little late to the game but I've been playing with portrait mode a lot. It's a bit disappointing in low light (not counting the times when it says it needs brighter light to function) but that's not a big deal since I usually rely on sunlight to manipulate for a bokeh effect on my 6s. It's just a lot easier on the iPhone 7+ BUT, even in sunlight the quality in pixel has deteriated a bit imho.

Hey, I know this gets asked a lot, but is there a clear #1 camera app currently? I use lightroom on my MBP so would that be the best choice for me?
