does anyone else think it strange that DxOMark are yet to release their review of the IP7+ camera? Even though in the IP7 review (dated 27/09/16) they say:

Tom, These two shots of Molly are the best shots using Portrait mode I have come across. No loss in detail at the edges of her fur. Even individual strands are kept. Practically DSLR territory.

Thanks, Molly is a slightly difficult model to work with as she does not like the camera. I had good lighting for the photo, which in portrait mode is rather essential.

Portrait mode worked quite well in this photo. The background is properly blurred and the foreground is in sharp enough detail to even catch the dust on the steering wheel.

Thanks guys! I actually held my phone very far above my head so that it didn't require too much perspective adjustment- but I used VSCO for that last push.
