I am in Chicago as well and ordered it at 323am central time on 9/9. I was originally quoted the 30th for my 128GB 7+ Matte Black. So far it looks like they're not wrong, even though I've seen a few people say their same exact phone was shipped out even though they ordered after me. However, who knows if those people were even telling the truth. Haha.Well I ordered my phone in Chicago at 3:37 in the morning a.m. On Friday the 9th.
That would be an hour and 37 minutes after the hour launch time start.
My first update from Sprint was I would receive it by the 23rd.
I checked the Sprint update page this morning and my times have slipped to the 23rd to the 30th.
By the way I ordered a 256 GB matte black

I was thinking the same thing, if they weren't gonna make enough to spread across all carriers. Why do a preorder? Why not just send the phones to respective carriers and just let it be first come first serve.Looks like everyone who pre ordered matte or jet black color options and all storage models will be waiting. What bothers me most about the Jet Black being delayed isn't that I won't get the phone in time, its that the delay causes another Lease Payment on the 6S+ even though its scheduled to be returned. It seems unfair to charge us for a phone lease due to Sprint being unable to fulfill the order.
