I had given up all hope as well for a delivery today, but very surprisingly received a shipping update last night around midnight for delivery today! Next day air saver and is on the truck for delivery. IPhone 7+ RG 256 gb, ordered 9/9 4:50am EST (earliest the site worked for me), upgrade, order #803457XXX. This situation was so similar to when I ordered my 6+ 2 years ago, was quoted delivery a few weeks out and then last minute got details it would deliver on launch day. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you all to get last minute deliveries and for those who don't, I extend my deepest sympathies .
 
My order status now says will deliver on 9/23-9/30

Well I ordered my phone in Chicago at 3:37 in the morning a.m. On Friday the 9th.

That would be an hour and 37 minutes after the hour launch time start.

My first update from Sprint was I would receive it by the 23rd.

I checked the Sprint update page this morning and my times have slipped to the 23rd to the 30th.

By the way I ordered a 256 GB matte black

Darn it!

I am in Chicago as well and ordered it at 323am central time on 9/9. I was originally quoted the 30th for my 128GB 7+ Matte Black. So far it looks like they're not wrong, even though I've seen a few people say their same exact phone was shipped out even though they ordered after me. However, who knows if those people were even telling the truth. Haha.
 
Yesterday I figured out that I'm in for a long wait. My iPhone 6 Plus was stalling a lot so I actually rebuilt it yesterday. It took about eight hours to finish the rebuild. But it's running much smoother now so it's a good idea.

I'm trying to find the Silverlining in this whole thing. It should be easier to get through to Sprint to do the ESN swap once I get my phone.
 
I preordered in store I called today to check status they told me to call on Sunday to see if its there. I doubt it I ordered 2 Iphones 7 plus one jet black, one matte black both 128gb.

Looks like everyone who pre ordered matte or jet black color options and all storage models will be waiting. How bogus, what was the point of all of us pre ordering then?
I was thinking the same thing, if they weren't gonna make enough to spread across all carriers. Why do a preorder? Why not just send the phones to respective carriers and just let it be first come first serve.
 
Well now my order status page shows my order number not matching Sprint's records.

Not what I wanted to see this morning.
 
I am setting my expectations/hopes on receiving my 7+ Jet Black by 10/7. I hope that isn't too crazy to hope for. My order confirmation email came in at 1:25AM Pacific on 9/9. My order status page has basically always said this:

My wife's rose gold 7 32 gig ip7 and my mother in laws rose gold ip7+ 32 gig arrived today............. my matte black 32gig ip7+ ordered at the same time won't be arriving till the 30th Guess I could have got a rose gold and put it in a black case huh :-(
 
Really curious how many new customers and IUP memebers got their phones today.

Read an article that Apple limited, or just didn't ship 7P to retail partners.

My status has not changed from day one - also, I noticed that the "chat" feature is no longer up when I log into this screen via my laptop using Google Chrome. Anyone else notice that or do I simply need to update my computer all of a sudden?

Has anyone heard of the matte black pre orders coming in today? I cannot believe how badly this was blown. I've had the new iPhone on release day for the last 4 releases. Now I can't even get an ETA.
 
What bothers me most about the Jet Black being delayed isn't that I won't get the phone in time, its that the delay causes another Lease Payment on the 6S+ even though its scheduled to be returned. It seems unfair to charge us for a phone lease due to Sprint being unable to fulfill the order.

You need to call and tell them that you're not paying due to poor planning on their behalf. Don't ask them. You need to tell them.
