iPhone Bugs

New iPhone 6, iTunes only permitting to set up as new phone or restore from back up.

I backed up my old iPhone 4, then set up new 6 from back up. Didn't set up as new iPhone. Every time I plug in to my computer to configure iTunes and load music the screen only gives me the option to set up a new phone or restore from back up. I've already done that twice! WTH?:mad:
 
iPhone 6 Sync

I have erased and restored my new iPhone6 several times via iCloud, but I can't get the photos to finish downloading! It's bloody infuriating! All my apps are fine but the photos just won't load up.

FYI, I am well aware that Camera Roll is gone but I should still be able to see the photos I have in Moments, no?

PLEASE HELP!!!
 
Stock email app only updates and notifies if I open it and I have it set to push. I downloaded the Gmail app and it pushes and notifies right away when an email arrives. What can I do?
 
Does Anybody's iPhone 6 Wi-Fi Automatically Turn Off But Wifi Is On But Its Not Connected. No Network Would Show Up But Wi-Fi is Turned On ? I Gotta Do A Reboot For It To Connect
 
I have a update in the AppStore for Walmart and after updating the update badge reappears. AppStore or Walmart issue? This is my 1st update since the 19th.

screen bug

Hey everyone. Have a strange screen bug upon waking up/unlocking my iPhone 5s (see attachment) disappears randomly after 1-5 minutes of usage. tried full restore, firmware update. still present after iOS 8 update. any thoughts?

Iphone issues

So I recently had a cracked iphone 5s screen. To save money I decided to take it to a local electronics shop that advertises they fix iphone screens and do iphone repair. Upon fixing the screen the front camera stopped working (the proximity sensor still worked) and the home button stopped working. As a result it was decided to replace the front camera assembly and the home button. However, the front camera still does not work and now the finger print scanner doesn't work and the screen has "ghost" issues where it randomly hits the touchscreen on the right side of the screen. He said he thinks it may be an issue with the motherboard but isn't sure. Aside from obviously getting a refund, what should I do? Bring it to Apple, trade it in, get a new phone, etc?
 
I have a new iPhone 6, had the 'no service' and TouchID Bug. Now i installed iOS 8.0 and it works but Now i can't do SloMotion-Selection in my Camera Roll (the Blue Lines won't appear). All my previous recorded videos lost that selection and the posibility to do a slomo-Part in Camera Roll, so i see a video with a high framerate in normal Speed. Anyone else expierienced it?

Same thing happening here.....drivin me crazy, and that's not a very long drive!
 
Am I going insane? Or can someone else tell me if this is normal.

Say you're going through menus, do you have to sometimes tap the menu links twice? Or try to scroll twice?

Wondering if it's a software or hardware problem.

Storage fills itself randomly. Within four days I went from 2.1GB to being notified of insufficient storage space. Not downloading anything. Second time it has happened, last time resulting in the safari icon stating that it was "cleaning". This time that didn't happen and I ended up with a whopping 0 bytes remaining.
Ever since ios 5 I have made it a point to keep at least 2GB free space that generally fills up in months, not days. Haven't had this issue until ios 8.

Also, very rarely when I initiate Siri to call someone while listening to music, the music stops as it is supposed to, then when I can hear that the call is ringing the music starts again in lower quality as if it were a ring back tone and continues throughout the call. The connected party does not hear the music at all. Happened once during the ios 7 beta (iPhone 5), once during the ios 8 beta (5s), and once during the GM release (5s) of ios 8.
 
iPhone 6 Plus Touch issues in Landscape Safari and other apps

Is anyone else having issues with touch events not registering in landscape mode? Sometimes in Safari landscape, I would tap or drag and nothing happens. In YouTube, I can't scrub to seek videos. I wonder if it is side touch rejection. Rotating to portrait allows me to tap links and drag the slider. Trying to tap Submit Reply for this thread doesn't register if the button is near the edge.
 
My iPhone 6+ has restarted by itself 4 times in the past 2 days. Its too quick to be a full restart, but I will be in an app (all different ones each time) and suddenly the apple logo appears for about 5 seconds then I'm back to my lock screen. After the first 2 times, I re-restored it from iTunes but that didn't seem to help.

Is this a known issue?
 
I'm having responsive problems with the touch screen, no idea if this is hardware or software related.

Have to double tap to get into apps/links/menus/highlight - it's very random as well.
 
iPhone 6 Plus Landscape Mail, stuck on recipient overlay

On an iPhone 6 Plus, open mail and view a message in landscape mode. Tap on the recipient in the To field. You should be able to dismiss the recipient information overlay by tapping Done. If the recipient is not in my contacts, the Done link appears. If the recipient is a contact, an Edit link replaces the Done link and you cannot dismiss the overlay unless you rotate to portrait and tap back.
 
Weather Channel Widget still messing up for me on my 6+. It worked for one minute after restarting, then went right back to not updating.

Is there a fix for this?

This has happened to me 3 times so far. It must be software bug.
 
My wifi speeds in my plus are normal, but every so often it will randomly just drop wifi. I turned off wifi networking a few days ago when it dropped, worked great, randomly dropped again. Then I reset network settings, and that did the trick for a couple days. Today it randomly dropped again, so I reset network settings again hoping that fixes it for good.

This is pretty annoying though. Really hoping it's a software issue that will be fixed in 8.1.

This happened to me and I read something somewhere that helped me.

I turned my phone off and back on. I turned wifi off and back on. Then I went to my photos and left it there until they finished downloading. I didn't mess with other apps and it continued to download. Had a lot of photos and it took a couple hours.

"(Name of person) removed the name from the conversation." saw this in a group message. Can someone tell me what it means? Did they remove themselves from the group thread?
 
iPhone Bugs

Anyone had experience when you sync your phone, it sync the files/updating over and over again every time you sync?
It keeps updating 1356 of the same songs constantly and trying to add album artworks but when is done. iTunes removed all the album artworks and removing the songs leaving an exclamation mark next to it.

I have both of these issues, along with the accelerometer bug, where it gets stuck in various modes...landscape/vs vertical. My question is does iOS 8.1 fix this issue or not?

Just and FYI, I have a 5s, updated the 8.1 last night and have neither of the issues mentioned. I didn't have them either after the 8.01 update. I'm one of the lucky ones I guess.
