Anyone having trouble looking up loan with social security number on the Apple store app. They say there is no loan linked with my SS number and that definitely isn’t the case. Has anyone had this issue and found a fix for it? Last year was my first year on the Apple upgrade program.
This is my first time as well , I’ve got everything ready to go. But a quick question. Can I pay the off early ? And just own it out right ?
It's possible Apple's servers are just overloaded right now. So everyone worried about not getting pre approval email I would not worry until tomorrow. You can use Business Chat or just call Apple to confirm your pre approval.

Yes you can. You will get an email from Citizen's Bank to get online access to your loan account. You can change CC to another card and make extra payments.
Theoretically, yes, as sim-free model doesn't ask for your carrier info and it's just a quick check out.
Someone in another thread said they tried it w/an iPhone 8 and it just tacks it on as a line-item on your pre-order. But I don't know anything beyond what the screenshot shows, which is "at pre-order, you have to pay off remaining balance of your first 12 monthly payments" (of which I have one left). I'm hoping it's good to go tomorrow night -- my CC is already on file as well. We'll see.

I called T-Mobile and they don't have a clue and told me that pre-order doesn't start until Friday. Then I tell them I'm not buying with them but straight from Apple and they have no clue to this.

Are you new to IUP? Previously (last year), they only allowed preapproval on existing IUPs.
I'm new to buying from Apple. I just paid off my current phone in full from Tmobile.
But you can't buy the sim free if you are on upgrade program. I have TMobile and I have the apple upgrade program so I had to choose t mobile.
I’m new to IUP and on T-Mobile and I was able to get preapproved today without any issues on my line
Does anyone know how it works when trying to preorder two phones under IUP? both lines are already preapproved for IUP. I’m just wondering if I have to check out separately for each phone. If so would I be able to log into the Apple store app on another phone and check out simultaneously?
I got preapproved tonight for the iPhone upgrade program. First time I have used it. I have a iPhone 8 with a balance on a EIP Plan with T-Mobile. Will Apple do anything about that or will I need to pay it off?
