can't get the GUI app and the .de one doesn't work with MAC. There's a circle with a line through it.
Is this a windows file?

it doesnt even work with windows you have to somehow do it in the iphone

i wonder if this is something we can do with fugu? anyone? geez, there's got to be instructions for this thing since the master site is getting smashed.
download all three firmwares. Try each one- if its not a match, it gives you an error. Worked out fine for me.
I think you suppose to upload the unlock.app to iphone. At least that's what the instructions said. I'm going to try that as soon as I find way to find what firmware I'm at because I just bought a new iphone and I'm at the activation screen and have no idea what firmware I have
if it has to do with ssh then im going to be really pissed but i dont think so hopefully
Youtube Activation After Unlock
A lot of ppl are having troubles with the youtube activation after the unlock.
It has happened to me 2 out of 2 times. And each time i simply but the phone back in jail and restarted the phone. Afterward Youtube worked for me.
Just wanted to give you guys that tip. If a you are having problems. Put the phone back in jail and see what happens.

No! It won't work on your mac. It needs to be loaded on your iPhone using fugu.

the download is a .zip.
i click on it and it creates a file named, "unlock" with a line through it.
where do i put it on the phone? i need instructions and there apparently are none.
Yup. Search the iPhone hacking sites for the download links, but basically you need to have a copy of the firmware on your mac for INdependance to use. If you attempt to use the wrong firmware, it'll return an error. If not, it'll go right through.
First off, is this the GUI iUnlock? If you're not sure, search this thread for it. Then, use fugu to install the app in your aplications folder on your iPhone.

I thought I saw some people post saying that if you restore your iphone after the unlock, itll stay unlocked. So I went and restored just cause I wanted to know for sure, and it definetly erases the unlock hack, so now im on number three

I was wondering if you help me since your done it so often. I just took my phone out of the box its says it need to be activated how do i get passed that and unlock all the other features first. Im using windows.
got it to work using the http://iphone.unlock.no method, verified using my friend's Tmobile USA sim card...

Data Plan: I have the 19.99 blackberry data plan.

You Tube: Not working, I'm too hesitant to use the other guide because it might screw-up the unlock, so I'll wait.

I have successfully unlocked my iphone. EVERYTHING WORKS for me EXCEPT VISUAL VOICMAIL. I have t-mobile. I had to find a work around for you tube and you have to plug in the APN for Edge to work. Make sure that there is no user name or password. I will watch this thread for any questions for the next 20 or so minutes. otherwise you can pm me.
