Sky, HSBC, American Express, Amazon, ...

Pretty pathetic.

Though I’d say three quarters of my apps are iPhone X native.

Imo Developers who have not yet updated their software for the iPhone X at this point have demonstrated that they either gave up on the app or are not worthy. I have almost completely replaced such apps with alternatives. A few of my unhonorable mentions...

Google Maps: replaced by Apple Maps and a street view app adapted to iPhone X.

Skype and Skype for Business: I still unfortunately need these apps to communicate with colleagues or a few people for whom this is the only related app we have in common.

There are a few specialty apps (from low tech institutions) that I still give a pass to.

Nest and SlingPlayer

It pisses me off when I see an app has an update but the update doesn’t include iPhone X support. These developers need to get it together.

Jeesh relax a little bit. It's not as easy as clicking a button. There are many different phases to a projects life cycle that all take time and tons of different variables.

Xcode 9 released in early June and planning could have already been ready by then. I see Skype for instance has pushed 13 updates since then. How much longer is reasonable?

Xcode 9 beta already included iPhone X information before information about the phone was made available?

It's coming up on 3 months since announcement. I feel like it's pretty reasonable to expect the big apps to have been updated for the X by now.

Appigo's Todo is sticking out for me. Just seems like a company that offers a subscription model for their apps would be quick to update. I've looked at alternatives but the two I tried that have been updated (Wunderlist and Microsoft's todo) have small annoyances that I can't get around.

Right, but just at a month since release. The simulator's in xcode will only take you so far. The larger the company you would think would be able to release much faster but that isn't always the case. The larger the company the more project management there is. Translated into more hurdles to cross and more people that need to sign off on things.

Depends on development cycle, like OneDrive doesn’t have files support because they are planning on a complete redesign of the app for mid December, so why add it to an app you’re planning on replacing?

I'd say 80% of the apps installed on my X have been updated for the new screen size.

However, the BofA app supports Face ID, but doesn't support the iPhone X screen.

The worst are apple’s own apps like remote or beddit and Skype is really ridiculous as well!!

Skype and Clash of Clans needs to be updated and then I'll be a happy camper.

I believe Skype has recently been updated to support the X.
