This mark is frustrating. I thought maybe it was condensation under the screen somehow. When I wipe it with a microfiber cloth and a dab of water it goes awa, but it just keeps coming back. Very noticeable on black screens. Not so much on whiter screens. I’m super anal about this stuff esp since this phone is less than two weeks old (my previous one was stolen so this was sent by the insurance company. But I checked the model code and it’s a brand new phone not refurbished, and the screen was perfect when I got it) I’ve googled and looked everywhere and can’t find any info on something like this. I think my only option is to take it to an apple store, which thankfully isn’t a huge deal since I’m in NYC. however I’m not paying a freaking dime. Wondering if I can somehow get a free new one through insurance and say this one is defective. It’s so weird tho I thought it might have also been just a smudge. But like I said it disappears and always comes back. Can’t see it in the dark but I work outside and in the sunlight it’s the most annoying thing ever. It’s actually seriously pissing me off. I take care of my phones cuz I love them, however this is now the 5th iPhone I’ve had some type of screen issue with. I feel like I’m being pushed back to Samsung. Again, with it being so damn new, I’m stuck with it for a minimum of two more years, more likely 3...everything else is totally fine on the phone. The mark is almost a straight line near the bottom of the phone. I forgot to take a pic with my buddies phone last night, I will when I get home tonight. This is so frustrating. Thanks for the replies guys. I’m new to this forum. Think I’ll stick around for a bit see if I can be of help to someone else as I’m pretty well versed in the new phones. However I’ve never ever seen anything like this ever. This is my luck in a nutshell lol. Talk soon guys.

I know what you mean, once you see it you can't un-see it and things like that gnaw at me. Take it to Apple and see what they say, if it is some sort of defect maybe they can help. Good luck.
