S9. more utility of course. problem with Apple is they try to lock you in at every opportunity.

Android is basically an ugly copy of iOS at this point. The iPhone X looks so amazing, but the notch is really holding it back! Off of pure aesthetics the S9 wins, however the iPhone X will be supported longer and has better, more useful features, giving you the best bang for your buck!

What you think, which one is better phone overall?

What it really comes down to is through the software experience. Both phones have their own technological advancements, but one has to ask themself, do they prefer android or iOS? Software should be one of the main determining factors. Hardware wise, they both are excellent. Of course the notch seems controversial for some.

The iPhone X gives you the best bang for your buck? Funny guy. Especially as you’ve stated in another thread that the price is “downright funny”.

Me, personally, I'd go for the Kalamzoo 9000 with version 3.2T of the KalaOS. Sweet phone, amazing battery life...

Is this really what we've come down to these days? People, go with what works for YOU - don't be a follower. If you can't decide then flip a coin for it'll be just as fruitful as any 'argument' you get here...

In the long run! Both of these devices are very overpriced! However if you can afford to drop $1k on a phone, the iPhone is going to last longer than the Galaxy S9, thus giving you more bang for your buck.

I think Samsung makes great phones and as a former Samsung owner (S3 was last I owed) I prefer Apple for it's simplicity. So like the majority it depends on what works for you. I've since gone all in on Apple in the past year owning basically every Apple product with the exception of the HomePod. My recommendation to friends/family is if you want a customizable device that you want to tinker with every setting that ever existed then go Samsun...on the flip side if you want simplicity and something that just works and works well then go iPhone.

The S9 is a complete package in your hand. It has basically everything of the best that the technology can offer. The iPhone X is a pretty piece of glass with an handicaped OS which main purpose is to keep you in Apple's ecosystem.
I'd choose the S9 without a doubt.

I'd never begin to compare my 7plus with an X as I see them as two radically different devices.
Nobody is comparing them and your logic has no point since we can't also compare the S9 to the X since the S9 isn't even out yet, even though the 7Plus has the same OS as the X, those who come from previous iPhones already know what waits for them on the X since it's basically the same thing besides swiping to the home screen instead of pressing a button.

Yet you obviously felt sure enough to recommended the S9. Odd how you feel you have enough evidence to do that, despite saying there's not enough evidence to do that.

As I said I and basically everyone will be choosing their favourite based on their previous experiences. Your argument has no point since you are only distorting what I said in the first post by adding useless arguments that won't make you look smarter.

Nope, I'm saying that it's way too early to make a decision on a phone no-ones had any chance to use. You apparently feel you don't need to even think about that.

I'd choose the S9 without a doubt.

Don't blame me, these are YOUR words.
