Can this be made into a wallpaper? More of Gohan and Goku side?
No, it's too wide. The iPhone X screen is tall and skinny. I don't see any way to do that one. It would need to be zoomed up too much. Try images that are in portrait style. Landscape style just doesn't do well for the X.

Which part you don't want black? In the picture? Or the border? I can change the border line colors, but not the black border.

Not without cutting some off the sides. The resolution isn't very good, and zooming them makes it worse.

The resolution wasn't correct. Don't know if that was why it did that, but try these. They're correct.
Did he not have a link to them? They may be in zip file format and would need to be opened in the iZip app or other zip file app.
