Damn that’s impressive what it stood up to and still worked perfectly

Unfortunate I dropped mine into a bucket of water accidentally and it was liquid damaged .A 1000 dollar phone should be better protected.

But you should also understand that not every device is guaranteed to survive water submersion either. That’s why it’s called water resistance, it’s not a guarantee, it’s merely a rating. No electronic device is safe from water damage ever, no matter what the rating is.
