Does your iPhone XS/XS Max have worse cell signal than your prior phone on the same carrier?

Well, my theory that if you had an Intel modem last year then this year is the same or better. If you purchased from a CDMA carrier or Best Buy last year you would have had a Qualcomm modem. My concern is there isn't anything wrong with the phone just that it performs worse in fringe areas compared to Qualcomm based iPhones. My goal is to draw attention away from OPs thread but I think the poll will be interesting.
Your theory is wrong. I went from an X with Intel modem to an Xs and it got worse. I’m not the only one.

No one suggested this before but you could try forgetting the network on your iPhone and resetting the modem.

I can’t really offer any more help then that.

It really sucks when tech doesn’t work out.
Resetting network settings does that plus more.

In another thread, I suggested the OP do just that as well.

Yes, my old 6s and my wife's 7 connect to our WiFi better and have much clearer phone calls than her XS. I have no idea about download speeds but that's not really her complaint.

iPhone X’s max 512gb in London on ee.
First day delivery unit.

No problems on WiFi or lte network.

I’m actually getting faster download speeds compared to the X.
Yeah same lol

Signal is low at my house but was in my x

Just a little bump to get any more votes. I am still having issues but I have not tried the beta software but the 14 days are closing in.
