Wonder if the fate of the iPod Classic is now tied to the 4S. As long as Apple has to make 30-pin connectors for the 4S they might as well continue to sell the iPod Classic. One can hope.

Yeah valid point, once the 4S is gone, Apple are going to have to make a call about the future of the IPC.
