iGary, Just make sure when you're trying to be cool with your nano, you don't start trying to talk like the little green fella from star wars, it'll ruin the who "cool" effect ;) :p

Yeah, no YOda for this fella.

I was literally walking to my car to drive the half mile or so to the mall and said to myslef - "no?"

So I still have yet to get one, but I'm sure when I find some throw away money I'll make the leap.

Too cool not to have one.

Considering how my mini sinks just nicely in my palm and are already thinner than my littlefinger, I assume those thingies are even too small. At least for my taste. But yeah, those are kinda cool anyway. Shame that those most likely won't work as ice scrapers like my mini does, it has sharpy edges.

I don't think it will be long before we see a black iMac to match the black nano.

umm...no.

Black iMac would look horrible. Black iBook however would look decent. Black powerbooks would be totally awesome though.

Nice pictures edesign, if you could just make them a little larger it would be great. ;) Edit; they loaded at full size the first time, for some reason.

Well, let me see. If I were to make my mini a permanent fixture in my truck, I would need another iPod to use when I am not in it. So, when it comes down to it, I really need to get another iPod. And so begins the process of resisting the urge to order one.

Well I have been a very good girl this weekend and totally resisted the urge to pop into the Regent Street store to pick one up.

that white nano would fit in my handbag a lot more easily though...
Dang, I was hoping to hear that you'd been a BAD girl. ;)

EDIT: Picked up one of the gray armbands yesterday... it actually does a pretty good job of protecting the nano (incl. Click Wheel protection), although the screen is still exposed. The nanotubes will NOT offer screen protection, so I'm going to pass on those... waiting for a whole-nano option from iSkin.

I know how you feel! I saw the nano in-store for the first time today. I AM IN LOVE!

Yup... me too! My mum was staying with me this weekend and I dragged her into Regent St to have a look. Once we fought our way through to the nano table (seriously, it was 3 deep all the way round with the next person grabbing the demo units before the person before had finished putting it down), I was in lust despite not needing one. My mother has however decided that she needs one but can't decide between white or black and wants to buy it elsewhere since she has gift vouchers to use up.

I love my 60GB iPod. I love my 1GB Shuffle. There is no logical reason why I need a black 4GB iPod nano. But I do neeeeeeeeed one, and badly.

Curse you, Apple. Curse you!

Got it not to long ago. 4gb White. Sorry for the poor picture. I just snapped a quick one.

They are so much smaller and lighter in person. Pictures honestly cannot describe their size. I though it would be bigger, but it is just so tiny.

"Hey ladies, I have something extremely small in my pocket. Wanna see?"

Can you take a photo of it beside an original iPod Mini, Mac Mini, and a Mini Cooper?

... and mini-me.

I threw down & got one the day after it came out. Again, I'm going to have to eat boiled cabbage and day old bakery items for a month to afford it

I just went into an Apple store today. I definitely agree w/ that statement, pictures just can not express the nano well. It has just enough weight to feel like a real tech gadget (unlike the shuffle IMHO) while still being really light. But I do feel like it was almost too small for my little girl hands. I really like it though-- I am definitely going to have a nano, it's just a matter of how long it will take for me to save up.
