At first when I saw that apple came out with ipod nano I was like 'what the hell did they do that for' and now I cant stop thinking about!! I have a blue ipod mini myself that I bought not to long ago and when I saw how much nicer the black ipod nano looks beside the ipod mini I was like 'DAMN!'.
i want one so bad but I love my blue ipod mini dearly maybe if I just drop it a couple of times......
thanks for those pics! Or rather... darn you! I already really wanted one. Sigh. Now I über want one. A shiny white one to match my shiny 'book and iMac.edesignuk said:The mini looks like a brick!

Finally found someone to go with me to the Coldplay concert tonight (which was AWESOME... if you have the means, I highly recommend going to see it)... a very cute girl named Caitlin (10/10 on my scale... much cuter than I probably can handle). We hit it off quite well, but after the concert was over and she went home, I hit the neighborhood watering hole... where a couple of guys (including a bartender whom I trust) informed me that she's MARRIED, but doesn't wear a wedding ring. Argh. I hope they're just yanking my chain.
Gah. PLEASE let them have been wrong.

I can't speak for the white (I assume it's like the "gigantic" white iPods... ), but the black nano is an absolute magnet for fingerprints, streaks, etc. I love it, but it will show prints no matter how careful you are. As far as scratches: the back is, as far as I can tell, the same material as normal iPods, so I'd assume it's as scratchable (i.e., very), sad to say. The shiny metal looks nice, but I wish they'd switch to something "rougher" to make it more resistant to scratching - or at least make scratches less visible.aricher said:Dang that's purdy! How is it in terms of picking up fingerprints and scratches?
Dock adapter - lets you dock your nano in a standard dock. Coolness. (cheap part, though, pretty flimsy - but good enough)w_parietti22 said:whats the white thing inbetween the headphones and the headphone cover things???
Ah, but glue ten 4GB nanos together to get the same capacity, and the 40GB doesn't look so bad.amin said:I went to my local Apple store and held the Nano today. Unbelievable if you ask me. Makes my 40GB iPod Photo feel like a total brick, ancient technology by comparison.
just out of curiosity, what camera did you take those pics with? (i know, really random question ) wow, that's really amazing, even compared to a mini!edesignuk said:
