Ipod Touch external batteries!

I found this external battery for the iPod Video on Duracell Direct, and it just so happens that it works amazingly well with the iPod Touch!

It is rechargeable, wraps around the back of your Touch, and is all black.

Oh, one more thing- It's only $15

WARNING!! THIS PRODUCT GAVE OUT AFTER TWO MONTHS OF USE WITH THE IPOD TOUCH. DO NOT PURCHASE IT. THAT IS ALL.

I think that's pretty cool if we can use it on the touch. It says : ipod video. (?)

It works great so far... I will be sure to comeback and post if it messes up!
+ I use speakers that were made for the iPod Photo and an FM transmitter/car-charger that was made for iPod Video (1st gen) and they both work great with the touch!

Somebody back me up here! :apple::apple::apple:

I am going to wait until next weekend if I have enough time and then charge everything up, make a 10 hour video file and test it out, it's hard to find time to do this stuff!:apple:
 
To extend my battery life I soldered a usb port onto a battery pack that output 4 volts and then hooked the cable up. The soldering came undone so then I went to Radioshack and got the iGo battery charger and the iPod adapter. Both work(ed) extremely well and were vary useful on long car/bus trips.
 
What if battery biz part of Duracell ?!! (or just a page that sells battery like Amazon...) :confused:

Otherwise battery biz has violated the copy-righted policy yeah ?!

The website may be operated by battery-biz, however the product is made by Duracell and you can even buy it at Target! (although for more than twice as much money) :D

I actually would have bought it from Target if I would have known they sold it, I got a $50 gift card let from the holidays still, but I guess buying it for 81% off directly from Duracell was still a pretty good deal... :):):)
 
Won't these products damage/ruin the Touch? correct me if I'm wrong as I am new to the iPod Touch technology. Hell, this is the first Apple Product I've ever owned.

As soon as I can get my phone to send files to my computer using bluetooth! When I upgraded to Leopard for some reason it couldn't send files anymore, although it can receive just fine... To the other forums for help! :) :) :)

Ok, it took me a long time, I'll admit, however, I have the pictures now, so do your best to see if it will work for you.

It charges using the same cord as the iPod, you can charge both it and your Touch at the same time by attaching the cord that came with the touch. It doubles the battery life, and really doesn't add that much bulk. ;)

That coin beside it in the third pic is a nickel.

The iPod Touch has the headphone jack on the bottom next to the dock connector. It looks like you won't be able to plug in any headphones while this is attached to the iPod touch.

This item is exactly what I am looking for, but the headphone port blockage is the stopping point for me.
