The syncing didn't work for me, did it for anyone else.

Thanks for working all this out thought.

Zym

On the iPhone, if you click the Sync and select the Mac version of iProcrastinate, you should be able to send subjects that way.

The synchronization may or may not work, I don't remember what state that was in when I last left it.

Any other bugs besides the synchronization should be posted at the fogbugz site so that I can keep track of everything:

Thanks again guys, glad to have this finally working! :D

huh? boom shakalaka?

i don't understand. in the settings sections i clicked on "email task list". there i typed in "boom shakalaka". the "send email with tasks" button turned blue and nothing happens. what is the deal with that?

also, does this sync with the tiger version of the desktop app?

Quit the app, open the app, you'll see the sync button.

Is this beta still open? If so, who do I contact to get into it?
Just PM me your UUID from your device, and the next round of mobile provisioning profiles will have your name on it. :D

(I can't wait for break. Hopefully development should start up again around the end of next week. Sorry for the delay all.)

Hey guys!

Thanks for all the feedback from the beta so far, I really appreciate it. I have a list of over 30+ things to change in the next update.

One question I do have: When upgrading from 1.1 to 1.2, did any of you lose/maintain your data? This would be very helpful to know. :) Thanks!

(I have tested it myself, but one case is never good enough when it comes to data retention. I have learned that lesson the hard way.)

All my data was kept expect for the colors I had selected for my classes.

Thanks, I'll take a look at that. :)

I have a changelog with all the bugs I plan to fix, as well as the bugs I have fixed, that all you guys can check out here:

Changelog

It feels good to finally be on break and be working on this again. I have a whole new slew of developers to add to the provisioning profile, which I hope to have out soon, once I've made a few more changes. :D

Please continue to email/fogbugz/post here your suggestions for additional changes, or for bug fixes that should be made. Thanks again guys!

New version of iProcrastinate! (Desktop version.)

You can download it here.

The only real change is that on the device, you can choose Sync, then sync with the Desktop version, (just push Sync on the green screen) and all the items should transfer over. (You'll also need to click "Overwrite Mac" on the desktop side.)

Let me know how things go! I have a few changes to the mobile version as well, but I took my Macbook with me on break (I was using my iMac), and I haven't fixed all the provisioning profiles and other nitpicky things yet.

great! just tried it and syncing works fairly well. a couple issues which i'll add to the frog thing or whatever its called.

EDIT: ok lol i think i was wrong its fogbugz, not frogbugz?

Glad to hear it's getting somewhere. The syncing algorithm is still very very buggy, that's where the majority of the kinks need to be worked out. Just sending the contents from the iPhone to the Mac is a pretty big step. :)

And yep, it's fogbugz. Though frogbugz seems to make more sense now that I think about it. :D

Hi Craig,

i would like to beta test and use iProcrastinate often(not lately over break) and would like to beta test, I can't pm though.

Otherwise, syncing sounds good.

I was an original beta tester and needed a new profile for a new device. Craig told me over two months ago that the new profile would be ready in a week....

i remember this! i think he's just busy with school work. i know i am.

agreed. I officially "Gave up" last week. I deleted the app, and am now searching for alternatives. I'm hoping development continues again this summer. If it does, I'll gladly switch back to iProcrastinate, but for now, I want something thats being actively developed.

Yep. I found a couple good ones but am waiting to hear reviews where people compare the app to iProcrastinate. The top two contenders seem to be iHomework (#1 Choice) and iStudentPro. I'll probably make up my mind tonight. If anyone finds anything please post here and tell us about it.

iHomework had been my top choice until now...I hadn't heard of iStudentPro. After looking at it, I think it fits in more with what I need and the interface looks very nice.

I'll probably decide what I'm going to switch later this week. I'm gonna do more searching.

EDIT: after looking more, it seems to me that iStudentPro is still in its early stages. The reviews in iTunes say its better than iProcrastinate, but is missing some neccesary features. I'm probably going to contact the dev to find out how devoted they are to pumping out updates. That will be the deciding factor for me probably. iHomework seems to be getting updates regularly.

The thing is is that iStudentPro doesn't have one killer feature of iHomework and iProcrastinate: the ability to have the icon badge show how many assignments are due the next day. iStudentPro only shows you what is due today.
