For me, Possibly.

Until (if at all) the iPad get's iTunes LP functionality i will not be using it for music at all. My iPhone is my music device and due to size will still do a much better job.

I'm currently undecided about getting a 16gb and a 32gb. I will mainly be using the iPad to view my dlsr shots while out in the field as well as a portable design portfolio. So app's will be my main focus.

I will be using the device to play the occasional movie but for non-HD content SteamToMe will be used. Books are another thing i will use as i have a huge calibre library for use with stanza atm.

I would love to have the ability to run a home sharing set-up on iPad with iphone as a remote or even simply having the iPad act as an airtunes speaker for playing music about the house though.

I travel a LOT for work.... which was my justification for getting an ipad. If I didn't travel for work, I'm not sure I would have justified getting an ipad. This makes traveling easier because I just have my work laptop and an ipad now, not my work AND personal laptops.

At first I had no clue which model to get. I eventually decided on the 64gb wifi model because I know movies and tv shows take up quite a bit of space. I've just loaded 4 movies, 1 tv show's season and all of my music for my travels over the next couple weeks, and I've used up about 25gb of space. When I'm ready for the next set of movies and another season or another tv series, I wont have to worry about freeing up space just yet. Plus, I can mix up what I'm watching based on my mood since I wont be limited to just what 16gb can hold.

So no, the 16gb and 32gb are both not enough for me because I load up on movies and tv shows while out of town for work.

For me 16 GB is enough, at least for the 1st gen model. I have everything I want on it now and still have 8+ gigs free. I figured I'd go on the low end now to see if it's something I will truly enjoy owning and using before I spend more money on it than need be. When the 2nd gen comes out I may get an upper model and let my mom inherit this one.

I bought a 16gb and regret not getting at least a 32gb. If you can spare the extra $100, i would advise you to go for the 32gb IMO.

I'm forced to keep my music on my iPhone- plus, any high def movie can easily take 3gb+

I don't think many people need more than 16GB, but for people like myself, find it more convienient to have more than that.

I opted for my 32GB model myself, I narrowed my Music down to roughly 7GB which I synced to my iPad (But I would have my iPhone always next to me?) so thats 22GB left (29GB after System/Gb/GB thing). Pop a couple of 720p Movies on and I'm down to 5GB.

Yep, I should delete the Movies I have watched. So 16GB is enough, but just like the Wonders of having a bigger Hard Drive, it'd be Great to have a bigger one!

You want iPhone/iPad remote capabilities for controlling/playing music around the house, check what a sonos player can do for you.
