It's only "terrible" if you insist on meaningless doublings, which is a pretty poor metric. Base storage is just about as big as it needs to be for the majority of users. If your goal is to never drag anything into the trash, you should get to pay for the privilege by upgrading your storage.The base MBP in 2012 had 256GB. Now over 10 years later, the base is 512GB. That’s terrible progress IMO.
Same for RAM… we only just doubled 10 years later.
That’s what I’m talking about. It seems to me like progress has been slow.
