UK has AC+ (which is provided by a partner insurance company)

but there is no mention, in the T&C's of continuing after the initial 2 years

I have just been on Apple Chat and they state:

Thanks for posting this. I was confused by uk eligibility beyond the initial coverage. It doesn’t seem possible to extend here

Not really. Apple is usually clueless about their own policies. I can’t say whether or not it’s offered in UK, but it is certainly offered in USA.

IME the only people who know nothing about Apple policies are Apple employees.

You can just buy AC+ from USA even if you stay in UK. Can be done online. And is also cheaper.

Just out of curiosity, how much is the AC+ from USA?

I don't want to go an purchase this and then it falls through, is there anything in the terms which allows this being purchased from the UK? Surely this is a loop hole they haven't looked at

AC+ for which device? It's usually 1$ instead of 1£.

When I was on the UK site it was telling me AC+ was starting as something like £62

But when I changed the region to USA, it then only said starting at $3.49 a month

Has anybody living in the UK actually done this?

I'd do it today for my iPad Pro if it's actually possible

And have you actually successfully had a claim be approved and had the work done?

Yes. Many times.

Wow - I wish I'd known about this before, it would've saved me a fortune.

Do you have it on a pay monthly or just one upfront payment?

Just wondering how a recurring payment would work

Monthly didn’t exist when I bought my last purchase.

I just don't understand how more people aren't doing this monthly AC+ subscription

this is the first I've heard of this, and would presume the Forums I visit, they would be screaming about it!

..but nothing!

True. Didn't know you can extend AC+ ONLY when doing monthly subscription plan, and not when it's paid in full.

Right I’ve just purchased a brand new 12.9 iPad Pro, changed location and went through the tests

Unfortunately this does not work in the UK, as you can see below

I am only being offered the one time payment and can’t select the monthly option
