Yes.

If you want the monthly plan, you might need a US itunes account in addition to it having a US credit card.

Debit cards or gift cards won't work.

For 2 year upfront billing, you can use any friend or relative's US credit card. Apple can generate a payment link from you if you want.

True. Didn't know you can extend AC+ ONLY when doing monthly subscription plan, and not when it's paid in full.

You can extend either way. But after 2 years it is going to be monthly either way. Monthly needs US AC+ and US billing, no debit cards.

When I was on the UK site it was telling me AC+ was starting as something like £62

But when I changed the region to USA, it then only said starting at $3.49 a month

That's for the regular iPad.

For the Pro it is $5.99 per month or $129 for 2 years. For UK it might be the same with $ replaced with Pound I guess.

FYI you can get ERS without AC+ if you have AC or maybe even without it perhaps. There is no shipping fee either.

You don't need any paid AC plan for global warranty.

It wasn't a very public announcement. Not many people are aware. Besides, it is US only.
