Just because one jailbreaker shows a jailbreak that may or may not be true does not indicate a jailbreak release is imminent. Some of these guys like to show off and most of them have developer accounts which allow them to do things with their iPhones that most normal people can't. A lot of those "jailbreaks" are a result of this and are never intended for release.

Releases usually come without warning. There is never any info on progress and no one knows or can even speculate when a release will happen.

But when an official, legitimate release happens you will hear discussion about it here and on reddit.com/r/jailbreak.

Same developer Luca Todesco now shared a video showing Cydia installed on iOS 9.3 Beta 1. Why is he playing with us?

9.2.1 dropped today... maybe the JB boys are ready to release something :)

Or maybe they are waiting for 9.3??

I think it depends.

If the exploits used to JB 9.2 are not yet patched in the betas for 9.3 then I don't think we'll see a jailbreak until 9.3 at the earliest.

Crossing my fingers, but at the same time I am sticking to 9.1 on my 6S.

I hope there are some hints on Twitter, I will check it out this evening.

I think it's a moot point as I seriously doubt there will be a jailbreak released for 9.1 and not 9.2 and 9.3 at the same time.

I agree, it's a moot point. I do not have the need to update so why bother until a JB comes out.
