I'm waiting for a JB too. I got rid of my JB on my 6S+ because it kept randomly respringing, it still resprings once in while though. My 6+ is still jailbroken but it has a problem with restringing when I occasionally use Siri.

Once you upgrade, you can't go back to a previous iOS version. We just have to be patient and wait for a 9.2 or later JB now.

I was seriously thinking of going back stock because I wanted the new emojis- a little research and now I got them thanks to an awesome tweak

I can wait until 9.3 is jailbroken now easily

When 9.3 is released and there's still no jailbreak, we will all say, they are waiting on 9.3.1 to fix 9.3 bugs. Lol. This will happen over and over until they release it.

I believe the current trend works this way..... New release issued ---> Is jailbreak vulnerability patched? --> if yes, release jailbreak --> if NO, wait

If I really correctly, some recent jailbreaks were released shortly before a new version was released.

Yes, the reason for that is beta versions. The beta version comes out before the public version. Lets say they have a jailbreak vulnerability available, and it works on 9.3.1, and it gets patched in 9.3.2b1, then there is no longer a reason to hold back on releasing that for 9.3.1, this often happens right before 9.3.2 is released, as the signing window of 9.3.1 will soon close after the release of 9.3.2.

Where can I get this, steps? I have a 6s plus on iOS 9.02 jailbroken. I tried steps from one website but it would only put in question marks instead of emoticon.

Doesn't mean anything, I think they are just warning people to upgrade as a security flaw has been patched with 9.2.1. At this point, I think just stick to whatever you are on. If a JB is released for 9.2.1 or 9.3 then go ahead and upgrade before JBing.

So for potential JB, you suggest staying on 9.2 and not updating to 9.2.1 despite what Pangu people are saying?

They are just stating to upgrade due to a security flaw in 9.x. What if another jailbreak team has a JB for 9.1 or 9.2? If you think the security flaw is a true threat then by all means go ahead and upgrade. Myself I am sticking to 9.1 until a JB is available as I do not see this security flaw as a real threat to my day to day usage.

By the way I agree with @windknown 100% re. p0 bugs. Update to 9.2.1 if you don't care about jailbreak. Stick on 9.2 if you do.

qwertyoruiop ‏@qwertyoruiop 10h10 hours ago
But if you stay on 9.2 please don't install untrusted apps. It's got some serious kernel bug out in the public.

IIRC, he's working with p0sixninja and pimskeks (evad3rs) on a few things.

So the question now becomes: is 9.2 still being signed? I don't believe it is.
