Do you think the 4,1's internal structure is better than the previous ones?

I think it's simply a case that it has newer guts, so the ability to shove a pair of x5690 is a heck of a lot faster than, say the 1,1 with an x5365, and the slower busses et al.

The internal structure and architecture of the 4,1s are a quantum leap over the 1,1 – 3,1. The tray-based CPU and RAM modules are a vastly superior design, much easier to access and upgrade; ditching the FB-DIMMs; drive sleds with a sufficient gap between the lip and the drive that you don't pinch your fingers every time you want to remove a disk, optical drives houses in an easily removable housing, and on and on and on.

Is the 4,1+ more reliable than previous versions (i.e. 3,1), could there be less instances of faulty parts and system failure, and could they theoretically be expected to last longer?
