Other Is the new rumored Touch ID here to replace Face ID?

Just realized another big FaceID advantage while at work today.

I often wear gloves at work, and with FaceID I don't have to take my gloves off to unlock my phone.

A bit earlier, I was knee deep in changing the oil in a diffusion pump. Diffusion pump oil is nasty, viscous stuff(about the consistency of maple syrup at room temperature). I had a work-related text come in that I needed to answer, so threw a wipe over my hands, unlocked my phone, and dealt with it.

FaceID is not going anywhere.

The question is; will they introduce in screen TouchID to complement it.

Of course, no one can say for certain what Apple may do/not do, but it seems highly unlikely they would have the two coexist. Since I don't see FaceID going anywhere anytime soon...
