Try a different browser. Some browsers have attitude problems in that if you keep reloading a page, it decides it isn't going to actually try to reload it anymore, and just keeps pulling out of the cache.

Had to go through the website, the app was constantly erroring out but I got what I wanted.

If anyone can figure out how to use the order number by itself without any of my personal details, they earned the right to cancel my order on my behalf, because that's all they'll be able to do.
 
One person at my residence got in via Safari on his Mac about 5 minutes after the hour. At 20 minutes after I was finally able to order via Safari the the store opened for me. (Apple Store app on my phone got in about 12 minutes after, but the app couldn't bring up my pre-order - kept getting an error.) Despite the delay, phone is arriving 9/22. Just took 20 long minutes of reloading...

finally got through at 8:12am est. never ordered a phone so late. Still says 9/22 delivery. Ordered a 512 blue 15pm and a 256 white 15pm. Couldn’t be more excited for this phone. Haven’t been this excited since the 12pm!

I got in the quickest on my imac using chrome! Got my order in. Pro Max 256 Natural. 🥳 The Apple app on my phone came in saying I had nothing pre-ordered!! I had chrome open, Safari signed in, ipad mini and iphone app. My ipad still not saying open. i see now you can order but it slips til Oct deliver. Whohoooo! Im so excited I got in. I thought the iphone app was the quickest but I guess not??

This was very traumatic. It didn’t work until like 20 minutes after the hour. Crashed, had to keep going back in, finally the store loaded again, let me pull up the order and place it. You would think they would have their stuff together by now.

whew that was a pain. I kept restarting the app on 3 devices, finally got the store to open on my iPad. Then it errored out multiple times. But I finally got it to go through.

Wow, Apple totally screwed this up. By the time they finally opened the store late, I was trying to get mine via a carrier. The carrier then said their website was experiencing issues, so I went back to Apple who had exhausted the 22/9 shipment.

It's now on order between 27/9 and 2/10. What a joke. Richest company in the world and they can't get something this simple right.

Wow looks like natural/white./black 256 & 1tb are out to middle October. 512 still available the app says. It will change over the day.

OMG… this is not the first iPhone. Unless you’re a YouTuber needing to do the first review, then relax. You will survive even though you don’t get the first batch.

Finally able to order around 10 minutes past 5am. Got the Pro Max Natural with 512GB. I can wait until later to order a case or get it from Amazon.
