I got in about 11 minutes after the launch time. I was trying from the app on my iPhone and my iPad. Was refreshing the website on safari. And also clicking the email link.

I got 3 phones. 1 for myself, my father, and my sister . I did Apple Pay check out and it went to a personal email not my appleid which I set up with all my trade ins beforehand.. but at least was able to grab launch day natural titanium for them all. It always appears to be a cluster at launch. Understandably, but still sucks

Calling strangers liars makes you sound very silly. The site was clearly overwhelmed with traffic but a number of people, myself included, were able to get orders in within a couple of minutes of the official opening time.

Actually, selling tens of millions of devices online with limited stock of different sizes, capacities and colors around the world all at the same instant is not "something this simple." I was thinking about it last night and thought no way, there had to be a clustermess.

Said clustermess took me until ~5:45 and ApplePay hiccuping managed to kick me out of 9/22 pickup, but at least I got 10/4-10/9 delivery.
