The new iphones will probably come out this summer....
I used to think god didn't exist.....

I don't see how... there are 24 months in two years.... your contract ends on one of those months, each July is a different month, each with an equal chance of... OH GOD AM I REALLY THIS BORED????

Yes. But earlier on, you never mentioned July of 2010. You just said "What's the chances of it landing on July", basically meaning what's the chances of it lying on the same month as a new iPhone coming out, which would then be 1/12.

you signed the contract in a set month, for a known set amout of time therefore the end of the contract was set back then and the probability of it then ending this july is certain (i.e. one)
