I started to say this at first.. I hate responding to the question. Though for some reason more people say big iPhoneI'd say "Yes, that's the point. It's BIG."
Its just a big iPod touch you wasted your money
^^^^how do you respond to that when people say that?^^^ today I was typing up a paper in school and the kid next to me looked at me and told me I wasted my money when he asked how much paid for it...like I love it but i didn't know how to respond.
Don't own one. I have used one but for my tastes I like screen real estate. I like big screens. If Apple ever comes out with a 17" high resolution antiglare screen ipad I will become a convert. Until then my 17" MBP NEVER leaves my side....
Something tells me that in a good amount of time, you're going to reflect on this and facepalm in dues to your own realization that... y00 dun goof'd.
My response is, "That's what people say when they can't afford one."
I think giving an answer like this really makes one seem smug and I think the Mac community is better than that. Even if they're the ones who started it, what is this, kindergarden?
I don't own an iPad or see its usefulness (for me) but I know that it works for many other people out there and its a very useful device for some. I think people who bash the iPad are just a little too engulfed with the idea that their opinions are always right, no matter the situation or place. People like this should just be avoided in general, so tell them that it works for you or just nod and move on, no need for the silly punchlines.
I can see how this could get annoying though![]()
I agree with chocolate632, there's no need to come up with a judgemental line to belittle people who don't understand the worth of an iPad. At least you can be content knowing you've got a cool product.
Heck, I bet Bill Gates doesn't own an iPad, but he sure can afford one.
It's the poor attitudes of some people in the Apple community that give the rest of us a bad name.
Another "pot calling the kettle black" post. You chastise others for being judgemental when the focus of your post is of a judgemental nature.
Nobody asked how you feel about the subject of this thread.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. If there ever was something "smug," it's the tone of your "lecture."
Oh, and putting a "smilie" at the end of your pointless drivel doesn't make it appear any less "smug" and arrogant. Nice try, though.
Well for Builts defense, most of the people who say that's it's a big iPod touch are really looking for an argument, I don't walk up to PC users and tell them their how many viruses they can get. The people who say this are usually the ones who think they are really smart by not buying one and want to put others down for buying something that's new. The that's what they say when they cant afford one line Is just a quick comeback
