They will give you a list with prices from a slew of websites that offer codes. You will find most have similar prices however on occasion you'll find a deal.

Its a great site and I figured how to use and search for it, but why is it that almost all of the sites have the same movies and all of them the ones released in the last few months to a year.

Do any of you use discounted iTunes gift card and buy movies from iTunes when they go on sale to add to your collection?

There is one major advantage to a non USA iTunes account that I can see. I am from the USA but currently on a work project in Colombia, South America. The prices for movies on the Colombian iTunes Store are on the order of 1/3 to 1/2 of those on the US iTunes Store. Of creativity would be required to setup a non USA account. One disadvantage (At least for the Colombian iTunes Store is that selection is substantially lower although there are a few titles on the Colombian store not found in the US store.)

As far the family sharing option. I have found that my USA iTunes family share work well outside the US. My son is currently in Brussels and has full access to all content on my USA iTunes family share. Of course my USA iTunes account works perfectly here in Colombia. My ATV4 that I have here requires a simple change in iTunes account.

Probably because they’re the movies that are available Lol, remember for the most part they’re relying on Disc buyers to pass on the code slips once they’ve bought them.

Yeah I do, just waiting for a good discount to be on offer before I buy some more I want from the UK iTunes Store.
I’ve not found any worth while discount iTunes vouchers/codes for a while now.
Used to get 20% off when PayPal & Tesco had them on offer but they don’t seem to have any offers available of late.
Went to purchase from another site earlier which was £50 for £40 but on purchase it said none in stock.
The only other seems to be Zeek at the moment which is only currently at 6% off.

Has anyone got one of these sites that works with the iTunes UK store? The movies on the site mentioned seem locked to iTunes USA.

Thanks in advance.

You won’t find one other than eBay as iTunes codes in the UK are very few and far between as the vast majority of discs come with Ultraviolet instead.

Hopefully MoviesAnywhere comes to the UK. Here our UV codes transfer to iTunes via MA.

I know it’s great isn’t it, I’ve got a US iTunes account as well as my UK account and have all my UV redeems except 2 show up in my US iTunes library.
The ones that don’t are Spectre due to unsupported studio and Grimsby which I assume is because it’s known as The Brothers Grimsby in the US.

Have you managed to link your UK UV account to Moviesanywhere?

So anyone that wants movies in 4k buy the code from a site that is redeeming it for itunes, because you wont get a second chance, i Bought War For the Planet of the Apes for itunes from a code store and it does work in 4k from the pull down menu, I had redeemed wonder woman from a vudu affiliate and it only ported in HD and now that its available for $9.99 from itunes in 4k i can't buy it because i already own it.

Just make sure your UV account (Flixster etc) is linked to your UV account via myuv.com, and then link your UV account to Vudu. You’ll need a VPN to set up Vudu, iirc.

You’ll need to create a US iTunes account, or UK UV account, then link to Vudu > Movies Anywhere

I wouldn't be surprised if many of those sites are made by the same people/company. For example I bought a movie from hollywoodmoviecodes (I believe) however my PayPal account was charged from DWHD. Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist DWHD could stand for "Digital World HD" (duh) which is a "competing" website of "hollywood movie codes".

This would account for the all of them having the same movies....

I generally buy the bluray and rip it for a digital copy, although I dont share the movies I dont want to deal with DRM. However before I do that I check those sites and if they are significantly cheaper I'll just buy it from them and download it.

Hey there MacRumors team! I have been using hdmoviecodes.com for several months now. Pretty awesome selection and cheaper then buying them outright. Enjoy!

I'm enjoying buying these codes and also converting my HD collection to digital via VUDU. I have one question; why does the little cloud appear next to the movie title in iTunes? I'm assuming that it's being hosted in my iTunes account for streaming. When I am done converting my discs, and I disconnect from VUDU/MoviesAnywhere, will those movies that I converted still be hosted in the iTunes account or do I need to download them?

The cloud icon means you haven’t downloaded the movie to your device yet. If you click that icon it should download. Once it’s downloaded the icon will go away. If you delete the movie from your device the icon will reappear.

Thanks! Is it advisable to download the content, or leave it in the cloud, as it takes up less hard drive space?

I am looking to buy all the superhero movies, Avengers, Thor etc.
Do you guys know if these movies go on sale in iTunes? I see most of the superhero movies are expensive even in the ultraviolet cinema stores.

Also, is there any reason to buy a collection vs. individual, say, LOTR or Harry potter collection. I don't want to buy some of these essential movies only to find out later that iTunes has it for sale and with iTunes extras etc. how to keep up with all this?

There’s price drops in iTunes all the time.
Check out the Cheap Charts app as that lets you know what’s going on in iTunes as it happens.

The Marvel movies are currently on sale for $14.99 in iTunes. That's about as low as they go in the stores.

Movie bundles are the same as buying the individual movies contained in the bundle. You'll get the same extras etc., and they show as individual titles in iTunes (this does not hold for TV season bundles, which are bundled differerently than the individual seasons with different episode numbering). The bundles are usually cheaper than buying the movies individually.

I was able to buy all the Marvel movie codes here, from $6-$10 each. If you feel more adventurous you can do a search on the UV Digital Codes group and you may be able to get cheaper than that. You should never pay more than $10 for a Marvel or Star Wars movie. Once it is released the codes are flooding the market, and the price drops.

Now with Movies Anywhere, I'm working on the DC movies. Which are available for about $6 each.

I only purchase a bundle from iTunes only if I can't buy the movies separately elsewhere cheaper.

I will probably buy from Tim Hughes for $6.99 next Friday. I thought about getting the Blu-ray but feel like Disney will double-dip in a few months with the 3D version and its funny to see people paying $15 for Batman v. Superman preorder. All for the privilege to have the cover art sit in their pinoy library for 6 months. Meanwhile there will be $5 codes when the BR comes out.

If you hide the Wonder Woman copy you purchased, the store will give you the option to purchase the new one.

You can re-buy any movie you own it. Just open iTunes at your pc or Mac and hide the movie you already own. By doing this, iTunes will assume you didn't own that title and you can buy it again later that give you higher 4K quality.

Always check and compare the bundle, or single, normally bundle is far cheaper. But sometimes single will have freaking cheap promotion but that one is out of our control.

Also some title is cheaper in different country. For example Harry Potter set in iTunes UK is freaking cheap compare with others country iTunes.

I have 3 iTunes account. US, UK and Malaysia, US is the most expensive compare with the rest of two. The good of US iTunes is they have more titles and more in 4K HDR. Not all titles give same treat in different county iTunes, you may find some title already is 4K HDR in US iTunes but it may only came with HD on UK or others country iTunes.

For example Ready Player One is 4K HDR in US and UK iTunes and early not selling in Malaysia iTunes, out of sudden this title appear but in HD quality only in Malaysia iTunes.

I at home town now and unable to access my Apple TV 4K now. I will show some screenshot of the differences by tomorrow night here.
