Looking at the TV Shows section, I see many instances of artwork that is less than a year old I'm just saying, there may be hope for this site yet. Especially since they no longer have to feel redundant (since getvideoartwork appears to be gone for good).

I have been converting my DVD collection to digital for some time now and have several movie posters that are not listed on this page (>20). How can I get them submitted for others to partake?

Unfortunately it seems that moviedb only has movies (as the name would suggest!) whereas it is TV shows I'm looking for

I'm a mod on the site and am just as frustrated it's down. I sent an email to the owner of the site yesterday to let him know it's down but haven't received a reply. The past couple times it's gone down, it's that way for a few days unfortunately. I'm hoping he sees it and takes care of it soon.

Every week or so, I launch Front Row on my Mac, and I browse through the top 10 best-selling movies & TV Shows on iTunes. By doing that, a temporary folder is created on the Mac's hard drive that contains the cover art for each of those items. After quitting Front Row, I navigate to that temporary folder and save the artwork in a non-temporary location. (The folder is tmp/Front Row/Images.)
Thanks. With some copy and rename tricks I managed to do it. But what about the videos that are not in the top 10? Is there any way to get the artworks for them?
For many titles, you can right-click on the image in the iTunes Store in order to copy the URL to your clipboard. Next, you can open a web browser and paste in the link, which will open a page with a thumbnail version of the artwork. You can then right-click the artwork in the web browser to open the image in another tab. Finally, you can delete the final part of the URL for the image to reveal the full-resolution version. For example, the URL for the thumbnail of The Bourne Ultimatum is:
http://a1.phobos.apple.com/us/r1000/018/Features/91/fa/8b/dj.ykamvrxh.170x170-75.jpg
If you remove the ".170x170-75" part of the URL, you get:
http://a1.phobos.apple.com/us/r1000/018/Features/91/fa/8b/dj.ykamvrxh.jpg
This trick only works for about half the items in the iTunes Store, so your results may vary Other than these tricks, the only surefire way I know of to get the artwork for any item is to purchase/rent it.
