Yup, unfortunately, after 7 days (if you DO reboot).

Try finding a friend with a paid ($99) dev account - those certs last for a year.
under device management, it shows as developer app , its not the same as developer account?

It hasn't been 7 days for me but last night I powered off my phone just to test it out and re jailbreak was successful.
When you turn back on your iphone does it need for cydia impactor or just side-load the app?

I just used the Yalu app that's installed to re jailbreak. I do think at the 7 day mark you have to use impactor and re trust the app to re jailbreak. It's not that big of deal to me just takes a few mins. I'm sure with the final version of the jailbreak it will move to 1 year like the pangu app did.

The one year timeframe has nothing to do with the jailbreak. It has everything to do with the certificate installed. Initially the jailbreak developers provided the certificate for the people. After a short amount of time, Apple revoked the certificate so they couldn't distribute it anymore.
If you have an enterprise account (the paid annual account) then you will be able to go 1 year without having to side load the app.
[doublepost=1486067530][/doublepost]So I'm on 10.2 on my 7+ and I'm starting to think that the jailbreak won't be ported to the 7 series phones. I was on 10.3 beta and it worked so well. 10.2 is kind of buggy IMO so I'm contemplating just going back to 10.3... Has anyone heard any promising news for the 7 series phones and a jailbreak on 10.2?

Question for those with the free developer account. Do you still have to use impactor after 7 days

Thanks for clearing that up

Just installed on my iPad air 2. Has anyone found a way to get kodi installed?
Using the kodi repo , v 15 kodi doesn't load, so i tried to use the deb for v16, install via ifile but the app icon doesn't show?

I tried on my iPhone 6 and it didn't work either. Probably going to side load it.

Is anyone else having issues with iOS 10 not working with the apple hdmi adapter.

Weird I needed more than 29 GB to jailbreak my 128 GB iPad Air 2 successfully with yalu102 beta 7 jailbreak.

I had the French tv series The Returned Season 2 on my iPad Air 2 and deleted it temporarily to see if the extra space of now up to 50 GB would help. Surely enough it did.

Weird.

I'm a little confused. Firstly, what BETA is this jailbreak currently on? All the sites I've been to don't say what BETA I'll be downloading!

Also, the 7 day life-span thing before needing to re-jailbreak... Do I need to connect to my computer to re-jailbreak? Or can I re-jailbreak direct from the phone?

The most recent Yalu102 JB is beta7. The official site is https://yalu.qwertyoruiop.com/
After 7 days you'll need to reboot into stock mode and delete the Yalu102 app. Then reinstall the app with Cydia Impactor, so you will need a computer.
Don't worry about any JB apps/tweaks. After you rejailbreak your phone, they'll all start working. No need to reinstall them.

After successfully installing jailbreak with Yalu 10.2.

Do we have to install the following from Cydia?

83.218.67.215/~ijapija00/cydia - install SubtrateFix.
apt.saurik.com/beta/cydia-arm64/ - select upgrade essentials
rpetri.ch/repo - install RocketBootStrap and PreferenceLoader

On 10.2, you don't need the SubtrateFix. Still need the other 2 for Cydia buttons to work, get tweaks to show up in settings and get rid of the error in Anemone.

Thanks. So I will just install the other 2 for my iPad Pro and my wife's iPhone 6s. My wife likes the themes I use on my phones and wants me to setup something nice for her.

That's a major pain to have to do that every week.
Jailbreaking has become more cumbersome with these unstable and buggy semiuntethered JB hacks lately.
Im not a fan of them at all.

Yes, it is an inconvenience. Hopefully someone (or group) will eventually come up with a year cert for public release. That's what happened with Pangu on iOS 9.3.3

Whats the latest version of Anemone which supports iOS 10? Is it 2.1.1-8?

Yes, that's the most up-to-date version. It supports UI, calander, clock and a few other features. People have reported AE shadows not showing, but I'm sure Coolstar will get it sorted out.

Thanks again mate. I'm going to hold tight for now. I don't think I have the time or patience to JB every week.
