I think there is some confusion out there about immortal. That tweak is to keep sideloaded ipa's functional beyond the 7 day limit, but to my knowledge, it does not offer the same for the Yalu app. The description of the tweak says this:

Note:
Don't forget that Immortal is a tweak, and only works when your device is in jailbroken state. This means even after installing Immortal, you should manage signing of main Yalu application like before, to be able to put your device in jailbroken mode. But after jailbreaking using Yalu and going into jailbroken state, Immortal takes care of everything and opens every signed application for you, whether they are broken or revoked.

Immortal only keeps your other sideloaded apps functional after you're in jb state. Since we need to run Yalu (and Mach_portal for that matter) to jb in the first place, they are always run while the phone is in stock mode, meaning Immortal won't work with ANY app that is run in stock mode.

Finaly Eclipse 4 is out. Now I can have the same experience I had with 9.3.3 jailbreak.
[doublepost=1486435296][/doublepost]Question about immortal : If I dont install immortal, I will need to resgn Yalu app even if I dont reboot my phone after the 7 day period? I dont understand this part.

No, immortal doesn't help with the 7 day Yalu jailbreak. If you don't reboot your phone after the 7 days then you don't need to resign it, your jailbreak will be good.

Thanks for the answer! That clear it up for me!

But I have another question that could sound stupid: (with pengu 9.3.3 we had the 1 year certificate so I never resigned the ipa) Do you need to delete the yalu app on your phone before resign the ipa or just resign it and re-trust the profile is ok? I heard some bad stories when people had errors trying to resign the ipa after the 7 days limit.

Yes, delete the Yalu app first. Resign the IPA and trust the profile. I've had a couple of errors in the past, but I just googled the error codes and they had easy fixes.

I have an iPad Pro on 9.3.3. I have the 10.2 SHSH blobs for it. Can I update my iPad Pro to 10.2 for this jailbreak?

It is possible with the Prometheus tool. I think it's still on mac only though. I haven't used the tool myself, but have seen people on twitter upgrade with it.

I have a Mac Mini (that is mainly used for Kodi) so I guess I'll have to pop in to that if it's Mac only.

But thanks for the answer. Now whether to stay on 9.3.3 JB or 10.2 JB... downside of the 10.2 JB is the 7 day thing, which I don't have with the current jb... :(

I don't consider that as a downside. As long as I know what I am doing, I wont need to reboot my phone ever, so jailbreak stays intact :)

That's nice but its a huge downside having to delete the IPA, run cydia impactor, rejailbreak, trust the profile etc....
Every time you will need to restart or run out of battery after the initial 7 days are up.

Well OK, yes, you are theoretically right, in this case it's just me. I never turn off my phone, never stay out of battery and never play with suspicious tweaks. So, odds that I will have to rejailbreak are minimal. :)

You don't need the $299 enterprise account. The plain $99 one will do - it'll create a one-year certificate.

Again, if you have ANY friend with a $99 paid dev account, he can easily create a one-year cert for you.

Anybody have issues with the latest jailbreak yet? When I jailbroke my last iPhone, it caused insane battery drain/heat issues and I don't know if I want to take that chance again.

I'm on third day of jailbreak and it's good so far
