I'm currently on a jailbroken 7.1 beta 4 iPhone 5S and its perfect for me until iOS 8 betas start rolling out I'm assuming in just a few months :)

My jb iPhone 5 is stable and with no crashes or issues.
There's nothing that would make me update to stock iOS 7.1 and lose all my cool and useful hacks.

I'm with you on this one. I'm reading all these people saying how great 7.1 on the 5s, but I just can't give up on the JB now. So many useful hacks, not even mentioning Activator. I barely use any of the buttons now, especially with my setup as in - Touch the Touch ID to act as a press on the home button. So cool and button-saver. And I even don't wanna start on the AppAddict thingy. I am from Macedonia, the standard in here is not so great so I could go and buy Navigon. If I had the money to do it - I would though. I know you will say - you have 5s, but you can't afford to buy apps? That's true though, same as torrents etc... It's so easier to save money to buy the phone you want, but spending BIG for apps I use? I just can't afford it right now, although buying them is the proper way to go

Is it possible to still get the 7.1 beta 4 and the JB for my iphone 5S? Which is jailbroken on 7.0.4 :)

If it is still possible please let me know where to go :)

I'm not dev or udid registered.

Beta 4 is not jailbreakable, and no it's not possible to go back to the beta that were jailbreakable which were 1-3

I gave up my JB. One of the reasons I switch from Android was so that I could get updates. So to sit on 7.0.4 forever just wasn't happening. I'm fine without the JB phone works great and haven't had one respring.

The actual differences between 7.0.6 and 7.1 are very minimal.
But if it makes you happy and feel you're getting updates by actually losing tons of jb features and usability then go for it:)
To me it's a downgrade going back to stock 7.1

I can't give up my adblocker and unlimited tethering plus iBlacklist on my 5S.

I have a local news app on my iPad that forced the user to view ads every time the app was opened and every time a video was played....the same ad every single freakin time. Adblocked remived those ads and made the app useable. Can't go back to stock. I would lose my mind. reviews on the App Store called that app the Auto Nation app it was so ridiculous with that ad.

I have a 5S, jailbroken on 7.0.6. My wife has a 4S, running the stock Apple IOS.

So I updated her phone to 7.1. The only positive improvement we noticed was that the keyboard for emails was bolder and easier to read.

That was nice. We didn't notice anything else of significance.

Animations are a ton faster and smoother on the i4 and 4s running 7.1

The title of this thread is very misleading, every day when I come back to the forum I realise this is the thread from yesterday, that actually doesn't have anything to do with a Jailbreak for iOS 7.1.

If you don't have 7.1 or 7.0.6, your phone is vulnerable to the ssl security exploit.

Is it even possible to upgrade from iOS6 to 7.0.4 on a iPhone 5?

I'm still on 6.1.2 (Jailbroken)...I'm wondering if an upgrade to 7.0.4 is worth it or even possible.

I honestly want jailbreak for 2 things: IntelliScreen & Faster Animations.

nope, you can't do that. the only option is 7.1 at the moment

Im running ios 7.0.6 now with jailbreak. All is more than good, but if my iphone got stuck somehow and should i need to restore it, there is no way I could restore it with current FW, right? I would need to upgrade it to 7.1 unevitably?

Thanks!

Yes. Only option now is 7.1

I say we all go for 7.1. See how many people are there to buy tweaks :D:D
After all, it's tweaks makers who need us to buy stuffs anyway. Without the jailbreak, it's not perfect the way we want but it surely doesn't hurt much

If they removed the ugly dock background, allowed me to set any notification sound for whichever app I'd like and bring back full screen contacts in the phone app, I would upgrade to 7.1.
Till then, I am happy with 7.0.4 on my iPhone 5.
