Has anyone tried a Juuk Vitero band from the Cult of Mac Watch Store? I'm not sure any of them has been shipped as yet.

My watch is the Edition gray Series 3, so I've pre-ordered the Vitero Granite band. I have no idea when it will ship. There is no date given.

I got a vitero cerulean last week, like it so much I ordered a vitero citron & ligero cobalt which I should have tomorrow.
I know they are expensive but you are getting top quality.
Kinda wish I hadn't found these Juuk bands as they are becoming addictive

[doublepost=1517518119][/doublepost]I was just informed that my band would ship next week.
Yes, it’s easy to get hooked on these. I haven‘t told my wife that I ordered another band. She thinks that one is all you need!

I have seven currently and have discarded a few over the years of owning Watch. Juuk seem to have found a nice sweet spot between the $550 Apple wants for a quality link band and the $30-50 that the Chinese brands look for something of lesser quality (to be clear though I'm not ragging on these. I've bought many, knowing that they may not wear so well or have very good quality clasps/leather/metal etc. but you get what you pay for and you can change up the look of the watch inexpensively).

What I hope this does is demonstrates to other potential manufacturers is that there is a middle market who will pay a bit more for good quality and good design. I'm hoping juuk themselves diversify a bit too.

They diversify too much for my taste. Every time I look at their site, there is a host of new bands. I can't even find the one I ordered, and I haven't yet received it.

lol their website is not so great. I would like to see them do some leather bands and other things too. Perhaps some bands more targeted to women, as most of them are not very feminine and I’d like to get my gf something too. She’s currently sporting some leather Coach bands, which are actually pretty nicely made too.

Did you get the link tool... the guy in the other thread didn't get his.. wondering if they send you one.

No disrespect to that guy but I’m but between the massive walls of text, experiences contrary to pretty much everyone else and (admirably honest) that he “may” get some at no charge, well, I’m not sure how seriously to take it. Maybe it’s just me.

Are you on commission for all these products you post about?

No not at all. Most of them I am just a regular customer of and personally use them. Just a select very few I may get them at no charge for full blown reviews but I only will review it if I personally use the product myself on a daily basis. What he designed is very simple but ingenious to me. No one on the entire internet makes a leather case for the AirPods like this and I just can’t bekieve that joe else does. They are exactly like what I’m using now in silicone but his are in soft supple fine leather. I’m a huge fan of premium leather products. I also enjoy mobile tech accessories myself too. This situation I was specifically searching for a leather form fitting case that was made just like my red silicone AirPods case I use but I just really want a couple in leather. I figured it would be an easy search to find them as I had planned on purchasing a couple of them but when I searched I actually could not find this exact design form fitting no bulk add leather sleeve case on the market until I accidentally found this guy and then I contacted him about making me a couple and then it turnex ito him offering me a couple samples if I pay the shipping to review on google plus and just get him some exposure in general but no I actually really and truly love these two leather cases that was what I set out to search for originally. I ask him what colors he had and I picked out the red and the blue myself and he ask me would I review them for him but I’m not really doing that here rather I honestly figured some people might actually really like them like I do. I still ended up paying about $25 bucks total. So I’m a full blown fan and customer too. These cases are flat out killer to me. Especially since you can get them made custom to your liking. That’s an awesome option to have and I can’t stand the stark white case of my AirPods so I’ve had this red thin silicone case on mi e since I got them but originally wanted the same exact design in leather and could never find any until last night on total accident. I immediately got in touch with from there.
[doublepost=1517629719][/doublepost]The red one is my favorite. He ask me if I wanted blue stitching on it and I had not even thought about that so I said yeah please make it with the blue stitching. That will be the one I use majority of the time but these exact cases I get from him will be exactly what I use myself on a daily basis and my silicone case will be retired.
[doublepost=1517630214][/doublepost]I think the price on these are $30 it $35 a piece. I paid $16 dollars for my two piece silicone case I’m using now so that’s really not that much more and you get the real premium hand made fine leather which I personally collect products that are hand made with fine premium leather like wallets, iPhone cases, belts and boots. I’m just a normal customer but I do occasionally get contacted anout doing full reviews under my professional profile name which is AnythingMobile by DavidKashton @mobile Tech Now. So when I post on google plus that will be what I post my full review on these two AirPods leather cases under. Here I’m just a regular customer who likes them and wanted to share what I found as I figured others might like these also.

I received my Vitero Granite band yesterday, but I find it devilishly difficult to fit. The connectors do not slide in easily, as they do on an Apple band. You need to hold down the button that you use to detach them. Also, both band connectors need to be attached simultaneously. You can't attach them one at a time.

Then there is the sizing question–link removal and reattachment–that requires an elaborate fitting of steel pins out and in. I simply don't have the manual dexterity for this sort of thing, so I'm returning the band.

There's and odd thing - I had the exact same problem - I always found it really hard to press the button and get the band to start to slide out. Except when I took the Watch to a Genius on Friday he was able to remove it in the blink of an eye. I guess it really does come down to "You're pressing it wrong"....

People should know that if you want to return one of these bands, you will need to send it to the founder of the company in Hong Kong so that he can inspect it to assure "that it’s in perfect condition, unused and without scratches or dents." If it passes inspection, he will "let Cult of Mac know to issue the refund." You will have to make you own label.

for people that have had their bands for a few months, how easily scratched are they? I would think that the blue or red ones, if scratched, would be pretty obvious, since it's aluminum.

Saw and handle one of this aluminium Ligero Rainbow during a trip in HongKong. The quality looks good, never have a chance to wear it for long period i guess some of the fans here would justify. : )

Can anyone tell me how to attach the connectors to the watch with the Juuk Vitero band? They don't slide down easily as with an Apple band, and I'm afraid to use force.

Sharing the place where you find it stuck or refuse to get/flow in naturally would be great. For my experience with several third party connectors, one thing you can try is to use you finger to push the lock ( metal pieces in the middle of the adaptor while sliding, its located direct opposite of the middle black rubber parts ) and it should get you going. Else easiest way is to get a replacement : )
