great job may8. love the video. great job. totally inspiring to get one in my kitchen someday...someway. i might try to scheme a macbook pro for a variety of reasons, but that is some time away :)

keep up the great work!

Can't wait to see what it looks like after you're finished. I will be looking on ebay tonight for a Rev A/B iMac G5. I just hope I can find one for a reasonable price, but I'm sure it won't be too much trouble to find one. I think my mom will like this much better than the mini and the cables being everywhere.

Are you going to be using a BT keyboard/mouse for it? I'm not sure which would be better, however, the least amount of wires the better.

see his website, he is using a BT mouse and keyboard.

thanks for ya feedback. It's a bit rough, I recorded it on a canon ixus digital still camera. it does okay video.. good enough anyway. The audio isn't very good (echos, etc)

I hope to do some more vids sometime soon, maybe even a few cook-up's. who knows haha.

It's nice being able to run the latest version of MacGourmet on the machine now that I have Leopard on it (instead of Panther)!

cybix, happy new year btw! Just wanted to keep you posted that I do finally have a mac in the kitchen, but not an imac. i needed some portability for work so we bought a macbook pro 15.4" 2.2. I'm about to buy macgourmet as it sits in the kitchen 80% of the time.

thanks for the inspiration. i've forwarded your website on quite a few times.

cheers,
keebler

Sounds great! I use my Macbook Pro everywhere, I even cart it into work most days despite having a very capable "PC" on my desk.. *yawn*. hehe

So how do you physically mount an iMac on the wall? I'v been asked to do this same thing.
