And I took the liberty of making a compilation of all the new bands with the silver sports Watch.

I found a pic on Twitter that did a great job contrasting the orange from the red:

That red one on the bottom right corner reminds me of Muno:

What do you think of the new brown saddle classic band? I like it, but I just bought the brown modern buckle.
I liked the new brown saddle classic band - definitely caught my eye - but the Hermes cuff band....is the style i"ve been looking for....I think I've been watching too much retro TV on netflix but those type bands were very popular in the late 60s/early 70s and I think they look cool. Now that Hermes has one like it I'm hoping this inspires knock offs that I can afford - LOL!

Still glad I went with the sgs originally. But I am somewhat tempted to "go for the gold" (rose gold, that is) on the new iPhone when I order the 6s tomorrow night.
I love the rose gold for the phone too!!! However I decided to just upgrade every other year - my hubby does the same so this is his year to get a phone and I guess I will hold out until the iPhone 7 comes out next fall. However I'm seriously considering an iPad Pro. Only problem is that it's really big and I already have a MBA for travel...might end up with the iPad Air 2 instead....

Which one? Definitely smaller than the 13" MacBook Air, although you may need to add back the weight and bulk of a keyboard? It does have a larger footprint than the 11" MBA however.

Dimensions: MBA 11" / MB 12" / iPad Pro / MBA 13"
Height: 0.11-0.68 inch / 0.14–0.52 inch / 0.27 inch / 0.11-0.68 inch
Width: 11.8 inches / 11.04 inches / 12 inches / 12.8 inches
Depth: 7.56 inches / 7.74 inches / 8.68 inches / 8.94 inches
Weight: 2.38 pounds / 2.03 pounds / 1.57 pounds / 2.96 pounds

Dimensions: MBA 11" / MB 12" / iPad Pro / MBA 13"
Height: 0.3-1.7 cm / 0.35–1.31 cm / 6.9 mm / 0.3-1.7 cm
Width: 30 cm / 28.05 cm / 30.57 cm / 32.5 cm
Depth: 19.2 cm / 19.65 cm / 22.06 cm / 22.7 cm
Weight: 1.08 kg / 0.92 kg / 0.713kg / 1.35kg

Yeah I have the MBA 11 " and it's the perfect size - I have to take my work laptop - TP 14 ". I have a MBP 13" for home but got the MBA b/c I wanted something lightweight to schlep around the airport. I will be trading in my iPad mini so not sure I can go from a mini to a big Pro. If I didn't have a MBA I would definitely be game but kinda hard to justify it when I have the MBA just for travel - it sits on my desk charging when I'm at home. Recently my travel has been reduced (thank goodness) so I hardly crack it open. I do use my iPad mini for some games and reading but after getting the iPhone 6 Plus last year I find that I even use my iPad mini a lot less.

Ha ha, yes I remember those bands - in fact, I remember I made myself a leather watch band in that style, brown suede with double ties instead of snaps. Very cool. Yeah, I know I'm dating myself :)
I do love nice leather.

That orange band is mighty tempting...... yes, indeed...... :) Been waiting for this ever since we saw that photo from Italy where the woman was holding that box full of bands. I knew Apple had an orange band in there!

I also liked the Hermes band -- but, ahem, a bit out of my price range! Like others, hoping for someone to do a decent knockoff of that style!

My problem with new colors (of the sport watch) is that I wouldn't feel as if it matches everything I wear. Gold is a little more versatile but the rose gold is just pink. Lol

I've decided that the rose gold isn't going to do it for me after all, the white bezel just kills it. The iPad Pro is an awesome bit of kit. If I were an engineer, architect, or designer I'd be drooling heavily. I can't see a use for it personally.

Alli I've been wiping the drool since the event. I want one of those iPad pros so badly. Wish they would have come out with a 64gb version. 32 with os, apps, music leaves nothing unless on cloud 24/7.

Like the new 6s, but can wait for the 7. Definitely going to treat myself to one of those new bands.

On another note, anyone a Click backer? Just saw the final product, not really feeling them.

I am a Click backer. Looking forward to getting that final product. I want to try some of the bands that come with the built in pins.

I was really hoping that Apple would have made a dark purple band for the watch. I am not liking the rose gold at all after seeing it today it is way too pink. I am excited that Apple is now selling the space black with the sports band which is the one I wanted in the first place. I hope it will look good with my 3 bead hoco bracelet I got from Amazon.

I have an iPad2 and my close up vision is aging so I've been hoping for a larger iPad. I love the one I have but it's not my 17in MBP when it comes to screen real estate. For easier reading I'm OK with upgrading to it plus getting all the other advantages of the newer iPad although my hesitation might be the weight. I love laying in bed and resting it on me while reading in the evening and my first iPad was pretty heavy. I don't need the keyboard at all or want one. Tried my hubby's iPad3 with a third party keyboard cover and it was a waste for me based on how I use it, rarely at a desk or table.

Back in the 80s I use to use a Wacom drawing tablet which wasn't a computer at all like the iPad Pro is, so I was really liking the idea of the iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil. All those TV commentators that griped about the price of the Pencil or made fun of the stylus as they referred to it saying Steve would never approve, had no clue what it really did or was intended for. I watch the financial news during and after the Apple events just to see if they "get" what they are seeing and pretty much this stuff goes over their head it seems and takes a few days for someone to really educate them.

As for Steve, when he was talking about a stylus he was referring to one to use on the phone, not a tablet I believe. And the Apple Pencil is way more than a stylus and not really intended for the general public in everyday use. I probably wouldn't get the Pencil at first but at some point might enjoy sketching, etc again.

.

I totally agree with you on this. I think most of the reviewers don't really get the audience this is intended for. (But they also didn't get all the new colors in the Watch and bands, either). I think the iPad pro will prove to be a game-changer, especially among artists, engineers and graphic designers. There really hasn't been anything out there like this yet that is really like drawing , although there are products like the Wacom that have tried. Steve Jobs was kind of revolutionary when he wanted computer fonts to print the way they look on the screen and no one really got that at the time, but now we take it for granted.

Will gladly post to the group when the bands come in. Supposed to be getting the silver link, black leather sport and brown leather. Going to try Jmona's advice on the coconut oil on the bands if they're stiff.

I'm anxiously awaiting my purple band from Poetic, which was pushed back to mid September. I figure if it's not shipping by the 16th I'll finally admit defeat and cancel it.

In the meanwhile I'm so happy with my Bohemian leather loop that I can't imagine taking it off.

THIS! I would never buy the yellow gold.... I just don't wear yellow gold... even had one of my yellow gold pendants rhodium plated and bought a new white gold chain for it! my wedding set and right hand ring are both platimun (which is why I initially thought of getting the silver sport since it's muted and flat like my jewelry ends up being between polishings!)

While i'd love the rose gold as a back up watch for occasional wear.... the unpairing and pairing is too much of a PITA to me and I wear a LOT of black anyways! so the gray sport watch with various color bands works perfectly for me!

i ordered the orange! i don't even think i have any orange clothes! so it may end up going back (besides... anything close to orange i can just wear the NOTpink band with since it's way more orange than pink! ha ha! but we'll see when it gets here in a couple of weeks!

Orange goes with an amazing number of colors.....you might be surprised! Then again, I don't know what your wardrobe colors are now. For years friends have kidded me because very often I show up wearing something orange..... it's just "my" color! LOL! Right now the orange band isn't available yet in my local Apple store but I am hoping that it will show up soon!
