I just bought my Apple Watch - I got the 38mm Space Black Stainless Steel Watch with the black Sport band. I was planning on getting the Space Grey Sport Watch but just loved the black color of the Watch model and sprung for the difference. Since I didn't plan on buying the $549 model, I couldn't spring for the extra official Apple bands, so to save money I ordered some Amazon ones in white and orange (in the sport like bands) and black and silver milanese styles. I'm really hoping to find a turquoise band and a burgundy one but striking out so far. But this thread is a lot of fun to read while I search! :)

Actually yes, and although I would'nt recomend it because of the huge gap left at the end of locking end, it should be up to you at your own discretion. However when it's 42mm to 38mm theres no way to make it work because the band is way too large for the device. For questions look at this guy's video on YT.

Great! Thank you.

Any other ladies have the 42mm? I have a large wrist (190 mm) and got the 42mm but debating if I should exchange for the 38mm. Here's a pic.

My wrist is 180mm and I find the 42mm rather comfortable, tho I am a guy. Unless you're more used to tiny watches, you'd find the 42mm not that big.

Here are my Jibbitz. I find this band runs a bit hot. Next test will be with my Exacto knife. Little cutouts. Swarovski crystals with a Bedazzler will not stick. I'll try some of the not-heat-set ones with an epoxy. Whatever sticks to my Crocs should work on this band.

I just absolutely love knowing the smaller band will work with this watch too. Katy bar the door!

I think the 42 mm looks great on you! The display will be easier to read on the 42 also.

What do your stands look like? I bought a Griffin at best buy this past weekend just to prepare for the arrival of my watch and I'm not sure I like it!

There is one in the stand thread that I like but I think it was just an idea and no one is producing it

I got my watch today! Its awesome! Even if its just a fashion statement, its awesome! Looking forward to the new faces and I really do need to get different bands. I can see myself get tired of the white band. Might get a bumper if I can find one. Right now Im just enjoying the novelty of the thing!

I've had my Apple Watch since release and I really want to get one of the lighter coloured new Sport Bands either Antique White or Turqoise but it's so hard to decide when I can't see the colours in person :( I really want to know if the turquoise is a nice pale light blue colour that's a bit more girly. I also like the antique white as it looks cream but hard to tell from the pictures on Apple's site if it will look different in daylight... Such hard decisions :p maybe I'll just have to get both :D If anyone here does have any pictures to share of either colour in a more daylight environment that would be really appreciated :D

I haven't seen the band in person but I do have Watch OS 2 and turquoise is a new color choice and it's beautiful - reminds me of Tiffany Blue - very pale. I'm actually thinking of getting a new sport band in that color and I also want navy. It's really beautiful on the watch face.

It does look so nice and I'm a big fan of blue shades so it's just a hard pick :( if you do get either colour you should definitely share it :) I've only seen pictures of people with the midnight blue/ navy colour which looks amazing... Problem is I'm looking for a band that will go with light coloured clothes as have a black band for dark coloured clothes... But midnight blue/navy will be on my to buy list ^^ the navy looks so nice with the SS watch too as makes it look more shiny :p and elegant.

Waiting for my rose gold sport to arrive tomorrow. I need to figure out which bands will go with it. I'm liking the navy/rose gold combo but the modern buckle is a little out of reach right now

Both my Apple lavender sport band and my Moko purple band arrived yesterday. I'm loving the color of the Moko band, but honestly a little disappointed in the Apple band. To my eyes, it's more of a purple-tinged gray than actual lavender. (My husband said the color should be called "rhinoceros," lol.)

The Moko band is very very close to the purple option on the watch face. It's just a slightly more red toned purple, where the Apple watch purple is blue toned.

Here are some pics of both bands, and side by side:

Anxiously awaiting my purple Moko now. Should arrive next week. I'm still waiting for a real hot pink.

I've seen a lot of 3rd party (38mm) milanese loops online, and I'm trying to decide on which one to order. Any recommendations on finding a good quality one from a good seller? I typically prefer amazon, but I'm open to eBay or anywhere else as well.

I got one from groupon and the adapter on it laster less than a week :(

Hey everyone!
I got the Vegan Leather straps today from the eBay seller NonZeroSum here:
http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/151706636137 and all I can say is OMG! They're so flipping AWE-MAZING!
They are soft like broken in to leather, they are tough and on top of that the quality is really good.
Now I remember someone here have had purchase a band from them. They are telling me this is the final version of the bands and they are actually even stronger PU than what they used in the beginning. For the price I have to say you get the best option out there for your watch.
They're elegant, they are unisex so not just women can use them but everyone, you can mix and match which I'll be doing this soon when the rest of the bands arrive because I'm excited to see all of the combinations you can do with them.
Here's some of the colors requested. Only 4 of them arrived and the others will be arriving sadly until October but for now here's these ones and I hope you like them as much as I do!
If you buy them, make sure you send a message to the seller telling them Jmona sent you in case they still have a discount available for the forum members although I don't promise they will still have any but ask anyways. Even if you save a buck or two it counts!!!
