For those of you who like the covers, here's one that looks really nice. Saw pictures of it on another forum and the ladies who got them are really happy with them.

These watch bands are really addictive, LOL. I never owned a Swatch in the 80s, so I guess this is my turn to load up on watchbands. :)

I am really digging the double tour Hermes watchband, although buying the actual watch is a bit out of my price range. So I ordered one of these with white stitching for my 38mm. It looks like a nice quality handmade leather band, so I am hoping it turns out well! I will post pics when I get it

Both my Apple lavender sport band and my Moko purple band arrived yesterday. I'm loving the color of the Moko band, but honestly a little disappointed in the Apple band. To my eyes, it's more of a purple-tinged gray than actual lavender. (My husband said the color should be called "rhinoceros," lol.)

The Moko band is very very close to the purple option on the watch face. It's just a slightly more red toned purple, where the Apple watch purple is blue toned.

Here are some pics of both bands, and side by side:

Lol @ "Rhinoceros" - excellent Smashing Pumpkins tune, btw ;)

I've seen a lot of 3rd party (38mm) milanese loops online, and I'm trying to decide on which one to order. Any recommendations on finding a good quality one from a good seller? I typically prefer amazon, but I'm open to eBay or anywhere else as well.

I got one from groupon and the adapter on it laster less than a week :(
Best seller hands down on eBay is Freedomoclock09 aka Richard Utica Guy. He is by far one of the most trusted sellers there is and you can trust you'll get good service and on top of that the guy gives you a 180 day warranty on your purchase so if you don't like your band in 3 months from now and you want your money back you have that guarantee.
Here's a link to a Milanese. I got mine from his and it's just as good as apples. Love mine!

Well this thread has made me second guess my choice today. I've had a 42mm SGS since May. Today I got the 38mm rose gold with lavendar sport as I love the rose gold and it looks great with my skin tone. But now seeing all of these third party bands that work better with the SS I kind of want to return the rose gold and get a SS! Ugh the decisions! I also know that the silver sport is out of the question, as the different metal finishes would drive me nuts since I like things to match

Go for it! It's what I did and I don't regret my decision whatsoever. You'll live the look and feel of the Stainless. I'm not saying the sports is cheap nor degrading everyone else's decision. I'm saying I love my Stainless Steel over the Sports I initially bought and transitioned to the SS and I absolutely love it. Besides most of the adapters standard are stainless and that was a huge factor on my decision towards the exchange.
Remember go with whatever makes you happy.
I'm sure the rose gold looks and feels amazing but, the screen between the sports and the stainless is different and the Sapphire screen against the Ion X glass is much tougher even when there's several articles saying the sports is better, not true.
Now if this was just an entry model for you to try what this current model is like, it's a great decision to wait it out for model 2.0 but if you're planning on having a watch for at least 2 years, go for the tougher model. At the end I believe you will be happy with it, but again, whatever makes you happy is what matters the most. Go to apple and try yours and the SS side by side to see what you like best! I'm sure whatever decision you make will be the best one.

So far also the only band with gold rose adapter I've seen is the freedomoclock's rose gold Milanese which link I posted a couple of posts back. It's only $30 and I'm sure it'll look great with the gold watch but yet again, you'd have to get all adapters to match your watch and it would be easier to match the SS than it would be the rose gold.

Is it safe to say that the lavender case and bands are more of a mauve-y color? I'd purchase them in a heartbeat if they are! I'm not a huge fan of purple but it looks so subtle in some pictures I might need it!
It's a Light Lavender Blush (Lavender Blush Light (Xona.com color list)) (Hex: #FFF9FB) (RGB: 255, 245, 251)/ Almost Mauve (Pantone TPX 12-2103) (Hex: #EBE1DF) (RGB: 235, 225, 223). Rhinocermauve?

That's the problem with Apple, they shouldn't limit you to one Watch per person/iPhone! LOL

Thanks for the link Jmona! I ordered two! That *Hot Pink* and Silver~ Super priced! I just love this thread you started. < Ordered that deep purple one as well >
The pink is so pretty. Well they all are. I'm actually buying some more even though I really love the sports bands from apple, I still also have a formal version of the bands for the colors I have anyway.

Here is what mine looks like

That's very nice looking Clevans. I like Apples colors, subtle, understated and classy in any situation like work or dressy event. Thanks for the photo. I could see picking up a sport watch down the road as a second watch (have the SS AW now) and might entertain one of the colored aluminum cases for it since I decided I don't want to go the case route. I don't have a problem wearing my SS everywhere (also not in rugged wear situations) but I do like the more casual look of the SW with certain clothes.

I have a Stone sport band coming home with DH tonight and can't wait to see it on.

I agree~ Apple Sports Bands are so comfortable! Oh well! Another decision added to my day- which band will it be?

Thanks! I still am considering exchanging it,but I'm really liking it. I had a bright blue leather loop with my SGS and I really liked the leather band, I'm not used to the rubbery feel of the sport bands. Can't wait to see what the stone color looks like in person! I was thinking the pink modern buckle might look nice with it

I really like the color of that! I think it would go well with my rose gold. I still am on the fence though about keeping it . I told my husband today that I kind of want the SS and his reaction was "it's only a watch, you're over thinking this". But I've always loved watches (I've got about 30 in my collection now) as my stepfather got me into them growing up (he also collects them). I had a SS at launch, but I couldn't justify the price for, what I thought, would just be an entry level "let me try this" kind of thing. I returned that for the SGS which I had up until yesterday when I got the rose gold sport. I really want one of each, but pairing and unpairing would be a pain in the you know what!

I did find this one with a rose gold clasp and hardware on Amazon I might order
@AlliFlowers actually has this one in a different color I believe. She can give you some feedback as how it holds up since she's had hers for quite a while now. :)

Ok....so after having my Healing Shield sitting on the sofa for the last month+, I finally went ahead and installed. It is a clear background, after all. I had to peel it before I could see all that. I really like the way it looks. Keep in mind there are two per package, so the price isn't bad. I think it looks really good. Definitely looks sweet on my SGS, and matches my Bohemian leather loop.

Here's my original thread with the order info.
