And who knows whether they have changed up production techniques or such since then in response to customer's comments.

If you do order from them, I would try to design around some of the negatives that were mentioned like the colored designs being printed short of the trim edge and adapter edge. Keep in mind that the side edges weren't printed so stayed white. Your design uses a background color of gray not white so the look may not be as appealing with those edges showing white. I think band designs that have a predominately white background especially near all the edges come out the best. Not much you can do if they don't line up the design to the band. Good luck if you go ahead and definitely come back to post photos.

Hopefully they have as that would be good :)

Weirdly enough I actually like the white edges rather than the image going down the sides so luckily that's not a problem for me :) I'm hoping that because there is some white in the design having white sides and near the adapter and trim edge will make it at least match so it's not too strange :)

Thanks :D I'll be sure to give any updates!

Ok....so I bought an after market Hermes double tour band on eBay. I didn't like the bright orange, so I had it re-toned in cognac. First pix is the real thing (from an ad for Hermes ⌚️) & the second is my "Hermes wanna be". What do you think?

Yeah that would make sense :) i guess weird doesn't necessarily mean bad I would hope ^^

No, weird just means different, or not my style.

Thank you for the pics I think its too blue for me.

Here's my purple Moko band. It arrived a couple of days ago but I had my infusion so I haven't had time to post an update. I actually love the feel of it. Compared to the Apple Sports band you can tell is considerably lower quality however, it's just as soft and as comfortable if not more comfortable than the Sports Apple band.
One of my friends who ordered some has a business where they make awareness bands and I ran it up to her to see if the quality was good enough to engrave them and it appears to be they are good enough. If I get an engraved one I'll give you an update later. Anyhow here's my photos.
Not too bad for about $17.00.
Oh I should mention that in the direct sunlight it looks more blue'ish than purple and it looks purple on the shade. Or at least it does to me and I didn't notice until my husband actually asked me the other day when I got that "blue" band. He was confused because he had thought he'd seen me leave the house to my doctors office wearing a purple band so he asked when did I change my band. Now I just need the Lavender Sports Band to make him even more confused.

It's crazy you say this. Because to me the weird ones are unique. Different is awesome which means you're not bound to please everyone and you shouldn't but yourself. I think is a really nice band but I'll still consider every drawback many have reported. Caveat the final design won't be exactly what you want so if you want to design something closer to the game you like, maybe the bricks/pixels/mine craft style isn't as recognizable to many if that's what you want and acknowledge what is what you're wearing. May I ask what game is it? Maybe I can help you find some graphics that won't clash much with that white edges that someone was talking about earlier.
Also... "One last thing"
Every time someone calls themselves or points at something they like as different, this is what I think...
Think Different

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. Embrace the weird. We're the ones that change the world @TasheRAWR!!!

I am usually the type to like things most people don't but I don't want it to be bad taste either haha :)
I am a little concerned with how it would turn out especially as it would be disappointing as I'm rather excited :(

Hehe you alright guessed it :p it's Minecraft. :D I did originally design one with my favourite mob faces but most were very dark and probably wouldn't go well with white edges so thought grey isn't so bad so went for the diamond block look :)

I have actually decided to order it and it's estimated delivery is next week Monday which was rather quick so will upload pictures but can never have too many bands so if you do find some nicer graphics that would be great thanks and very appreciated :D then I'll have an excuse to get another one :p

Hi Ladies! Today was the first day that I wore my double tour band (see post 653) on my ⌚️. I found one problem with it. My watch sits crooked on my arm because of the band wrapped behind it. Because of this, my watch would occasionally lose contact with my skin and it would show that it wasn't connected to my iPhone. I would have to either retrieve my iPhone and turn it on or put in my passcode. I tried different holes to loosen or tighten the band. I also tried wrapping the band in front of the watch. Just giving a "heads up" of a potential problem for those who (like me) love the look of the double tour band!

Got my double tour style leather band in today from Etsy! It turned out great, nice leather with a medium/dark brown tone. Stitching is great. I have very small wrists so, I am using the 2nd-to-last hole, and it is still a bit loose, so those small boned folks be aware.

The included adapters are OK. As nice as the Amazon ones I bought, but not as slick as the ones Pad and Quill are using on their leather bands. One side is just a hair off, so it gets jammed when sliding it in. They seem secure, though.

Overall, I am loving it! Here is where I ordered it from:

Looks very nice on you ! No problem with the watch getting locked if it does not perfectly touche your wrist ? Can you give me the size of your wrist ? Thanks :)

The wear detection works well, even with loose bands. I can hold my watch half a cm above my wrist with how loose i wear it, and stil does not lock. Sure it won't properly measure your heartbeat when half a cm loose from the skin.

Thanks for the info - that's the band I'm looking to get for my double tour clone. I have really small wrists so I was concerned if it would fit - glad it does fit in theory. All my bands are a little loose (wrist is 127MM).

After reading this, I realized that the problem with my band could have been because I got an iPhone S yesterday! Shutting down my old phone and activating the new one probably messed with my ⌚️ function! ;)

It's important to unpair the watch from the iPhone you're about to stop using or trade in, whatever.......and then after the new iPhone is up and running, that's when to go back and pair the watch with it. Yesterday, as I was waiting for the sales associate at AT&T to get things organized (I bought my new iPhone 6S Plus there because Apple was already out of stock), I unpaired the watch and the iPhone 6 Plus. Got the new iPhone, deleted and erased everything from the old iPhone, just left the watch alone until later when I was back home. I was surprised at how much I missed being able to glance at my watch during that interim period! Once I got the new iPhone all up and running, fully synced, etc., then I turned my attention to the watch and paired it with the new phone before then going ahead and running the Watch OS 2 update, which I had not yet done earlier either.

I don't notice it locking the watch too often due to the band being a little loose. It does seem to be able to read my skin even when it's not quite flat.

I am traveling right now, so can't get a wrist measurement. I will try to report back when I get home.

link_detail.jpg watch_side.jpg link_detail.jpg watch_side.jpg watch_face.jpg I have the OEM Apple link band. I have a 38 MM watch and after removing all the links you can on the band - only 8 it was still sliding and would lock on occasion (at the worst time when I had left my phone on the other side of the house). It was also a little uncomfortable compared to the sports band because of the sliding. I took my watch to my local jewelry store and after 2.5 weeks of studying it they finally figured out the Apple mechanism and were able to remove 4 additional links and create a system that allows me to put them back in if required. The watch now fits the way I need it to fit and I'm able to wear the link band with confidence that it's not going to lock. You can see a small pin hole on the side of the links they removed (I had them add back in two so a total of 10 links have been removed to fit my 127 MM wrist). I had mentioned this to some folks and I know a few folks wanted to know if this would work - and I'm happy to say it did.....it cost me 94 USD but I'm fine with that given the price I paid for the band - at least now i can wear it! :)

Cheers,
B

Well, I caved! After much debate I return my rose gold sport and got a 38 mm SS with a white sport band. I'm now re-reading through this thread to see what bands are out there to start my collection!

Yay! I was wondering if you had been able to get it taken care of. Looks great! Your jewlers are amazing.

yeah it just took them some time to figure out how to do it - they didn't want to mess up the band. I was about to lose hope. I couldn't find my original posts so I was hoping folks would see it that were curious if they would be able to do it. I've been wearing it all day without issue - love that I can now *trust* it not to lock on me :)
